Quick and WOW Gift Box - Guest Joanne

Today I am sharing this quick and easy gift idea.  I found these wonderful metal tins at my local Joann's store and bought a package to play with.  I didn't know what I was going to do with them but I loved the size and shape and thought they would be wonderful decorated in some way.  I was assuming with paper initially but then I had a thought.  I was looking through my supplies and came across this beautiful WOW embossing glitter called Frozen Berries.  I thought it could be beautiful as the cover to my box but wasn't sure about embossing directly on the tin.  Well it wasn't only possible, it was really easy and quick to create this adorable box.  It would make a great gift alone or filled with something fun.
I started with the top of the lid and generously pushed it around on my embossing ink pad placed it on my craft table on a piece of copy paper as usual and poured the glitter all over it.  I then carefully picked it up using the side  as I wasn't embossing …

Shimmer Hearts with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a card using this month’s theme of Favourite WOW stamps. I used the Layered Hearts stamp set with neutral ultra shimmer embossing powder to create a pretty one layer card.

I began by lightly drawing a grid on a piece of card in pencil. This helps to keep everything lined up when stamping and will be easy to erase later.
Next, I chose some Altenew dye inks in the following colours: Coral Berry Fresh Lemon Bamboo Forest Glades Volcano Lake Dusk Hydrangea Puffy Heart
I used a stamp positioner to stamp each heart, then embossed with Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder. The dye ink stays wet just long enough to emboss but you can only do this process one heart at a time - stamp first, then emboss, and so on until the pattern is finished.

I then erased the pencil lines from around the embossed hearts, and adhered the panel to my card base.
I decided not to add a sentiment on this card as I like the pattern uninterrupted. It also makes the card more versatile as it could be …

Sparkling Birthday Card with Dana

Happy Sunday, WOW! friends!

It's Dana here and I'd like to share sparkling birthday card with you today.

To start, I stenciled balloons onto navy card stock with WOW! Sparkles using Studio Katia Birthday Balloons Duo Stencil.

For this, I mixed texture paste with WOW! Peachy Keen and Crushed Ice Sparkles and let them dried.

I trimmed down vellum strip and stamped a sentiment from WOW! Born to Sparkle Stamp Set with WOW! Embossing Ink. I splattered WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder and heat set it.

As a final touch, I embellished panel with Studio Katia Crystal Rainbow Sequins here and there.

Hope you enjoyed this card. And don't forget to stop by our July Monthly Challenge at Facebook Fan Group for more inspiration and join with us!
