Summer shaker card

Hello, dear friends!
I want to wish you a happy summer time! It is the time to relax and enjoy the sun, warm wind and long days. So my card for today is very clean and simple, light and fresh.
I created the background, using texture paste with stencil. While the paste was wet, I sprinkled it with WS111 Cha Cha Cha and heat set.

For the shaker element I used a printed out word summer, stamped word Happy from
Just Saying (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set and added some background stamping with tiny circles from Hearts & Twine (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set. Then I filled the shaker with some acrylic drops, microbeads and my favourite Sparkles, of course! Here I used SPRK005 Santorini SPARKLES and SPRK002 Celebration SPARKLES.
Also I splashed white paint to add more interest and life to the card. I used the following Wow! products:

Babybook with gold accents

Hello, dear friends! Victoria is on the blog today, and I want to share with you a babybook that I created for my son's photos. Babybook is an album or notebook with printed pages for photos and notes about your child. It is an easy and pretty way to store your memories. And Memories is the theme on our blog challenge in May!
The design of the pages is clean with black and gold accents, so I used a bunch of coordinating Wow products to decorate the book.

Galaxy mixed media canvas

Hello, crafty friends! Victoria is on the blog today. This month our team shares their favourite embossing techniques, be sure to join our challenge! As for me, I love the following techniques: partial background embossing and embossing of chipboards/die-cuts. I wanted to represent them on a bigger project than a regular card, so I created this canvas with a recent photo of mine.

Can you believe it is December already? It is high time to unpack your Christmas decoration and create greeting cards for all your beloved ones. I love making cards and here is a new one with amazing Wow! products for our "Winter" challenge.
As usual, I created custom background by stamping with Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad confetti stars and snow from Clear Stamp Set Let It Snow (by Marion Emberson) and embossed with WK14 Frozen embossing powder. Then I applied some clear texture paste with a stencil and added some pearlescent sprays.

Card with Ombre embossing on diecuts

Hello, friends! It is Victoria on the blog today, with a card for our September Challenge -  the theme is "Anything Goes". Recently I have received my DT pack with the new products and wanted to play with them. New line of Colour Blend is made of an pearlescent base with a mixture of other colours and they complement each other beautifully.
I wanted to get ombre look for my die-cuts, so I inked a piece of white cardstock with Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and poured some WL09R Colour Blend - Blueberry Cheesecake powder on top, than WL08R Colour Blend - Peppermint TeaWL06R Colour Blend - Mint MacaroonWL07R Colour Blend - Banana Split to the bottom, making a stripe of each colour and heat set with WOW! Altered lantern from a piece of paper!

Hello, crafty friends! It is Victoria on the blog today. Our August theme is "Flowers" and I absolutely love it: I use flowers in almost every project. And I've prepared something really cool. This lantern I created from scratch and embellished with my handmade flowers. I will give you the instructions below.
1. I cut 8 a2 paper frames and 8 borders, using my die-cutting machine, two pieces 12*12 cm of paper for the top and the bottom and two pieces 10.5*10.5 cm of 2 mm thick cardboard. Also I cut four 1,5*13 cm paper strips and scored them in half in length and folded. Then I glued the frames to the folded strips (1st frame-paper strip-2nd frame, so you get rather firm and steady construction), that way I formed rectangular base for the lantern.

Tutorial - Oriental mixed media card

Hello!
Victoria is on the blog today. Is your July warm and sunny? Have you gone on vacation already? I am dreaming of a journey to Oriental countries. The chic and vibrant colors of Oriental art inspired me to create this card for our July challenge "Favourite Embossing Technique" (I used two - resist effect and embossing on texture paste).
You can see video tutorial from start to finish below.

See few close ups if you want to have a closer look at the card.

Summer nautical shaker card

Ahoy, friends! It is Victoria on the blog today, and first of all I would like to wish you warm and sunny summer days! This month our theme for the challenge is Summer  and here is my card to give you some inspiration :) To tell the truth, I am not fond of summer - it is hard to bear the heat, though I like summer vacation on the seaside, and I love to make nautical projects. You can read the description of how-to-make this card just below. I started to make the background, working wet-on-wet with sprays on watercolor paper. First I sprayed the water and then started to add color spray with a brush, drying the splashes with WOW! Heat Tool - Euro . Then I applied white gloss gel through the stencil to create the birds. Also I stamped few triangles with Sparkle & Shine (by Maya Isaksson) - Clear Stamp Set and Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad , sprinkled over WS125 Under the Sea powder and heat set it.

Steampunk notebook

Hi there, crafty friends! It is Victoria here today. Can you believe it is May already?.. This month our theme is "Anything but a card", so I created a steampunk notebook for my husband - it was our 10 anniversary on May,3 and that is a part of a gift.
For making the cover I took two cardboard pieces 10*18 cm each, a piece of fabric about 30*20 cm, and also a piece of felt for softness. I glued the felt to the cardboard and then covered it with fabric, as usual. Then I coloured the fabric with red and brown sprays and covered it with clear gloss medium for waterproof and shiny look. When it dried, I set the eyelets and rings.

Doctor Who inspired mixed media canvas

Hello, dear crafters! It is Victoria on the blog today. This month theme is Spring, it is a great time for new beginning and discovery. And for me spring and especially April is always connected with International Day of Human Space Flight. I absolutely love space theme and this time I wanted to make a canvas inspired by the Doctor Who show.

1. I started with making galaxy background, working on a 20*20 cm piece of watercolor paper. I went wet-on-wet, using few shades of pink, blue, purple and black sprays and watercolor, starting from the lightest color. For better blending you should let it air-dry, thus the colors bleed into each other.
2. When the paper dried, I made lots of small splashes of white acrylic paint for the brightest stars and white pearl spray for more subtle, but shiny from another angle look.
3. I used snow stamp from Let It Snow (by Marion Emberson) - Clear Stamp Set, as it  reminds me of starry sky also. So I stamped it with Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad …

Card with flowers "Make A Wish"

Hello, everyone! Today it is Victoria here with inspiration in turquoise and blue colours. I created a card, inspired by an early spring - cold, with ice and snow from time to time.
First of all I took a piece of watercolour paper 10x14 cm in size and covered it with a clear acrylic medium through the stencil. While the medium was still wet, I poured WS125 Under the Sea embossing powder. When the medium became dry, I heat set the powder with a WOW! Heat Tool - Euro and got a great, raised texture. I sprayed it with a turquoise aqua spray and the embossing powder created resist effect. Then I added lace to the background. Also I die-cut two borders out of white cardstock, covered it with embossing ink using Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and applied two coats of WH19 Bluetiful embossing powder. Also I die cut another wide border, stamped the pattern from Sparkle & Shine (by Maya Isaksson) - Clear Stamp Set and used the same WH19 Bluetiful powder. I took a few drops of turqu…

Wow! You rock my world

Hello there, craft people! It is Victoria here today on the blog with my very first DT project. I have to admit, I adore heat embossing in every way! So today I am sharing a card embossed in a few ways. I've made it for a fan of classic rock music and computers.

I like to create custom backgrounds, so I started with a regular black cardstock and applied red texture paint through the stencil. While the paste was still wet, I sprinkled some Heart Throb powder here and there and melted it wih a WOW! Heat Tool.

Then I added a couple of paper pieces, which were embossed with a folder and sprayed and inked with a black ink a bit. Between the layers of paper I placed die-cut gears, covered with ink with a help of Wow Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and embossed with Ebony and Heart Throb powders. Actually I believe that use of similiar powders on different elements helps to keep the project together.
