Major Rockstar Canvas

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share my fabric project.  I made a small canvas of my daughter playing one of her guitars.  I first applied some Spackle to the canvas and after that was dry I ran my versamark ink pad around the edges and on some of the peaks of the texture.  Apply the embossing powder, I used Sierra sunrise, and then proceed to decorate as desired.  I love the embossing powder and the texture together I think it gives really nice dimension to my canvas.

Supplies:
WOW embossing glitter- Sierra Sunrise
Flowers- Prima
Twine- May Arts

I hope you have enjoyed my fabric post today, you still have a few more days to link up for some cool prizes.

Stars and Stripe Layout WOW style

Hi, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my Stars and Stripes post.  Stars and Stripes always remind me of the United States, the Flag and the 4th of July but I wanted to create a more subtle layout for my post. This is really a simple layout that packs a big punch.  I did the stars using Melt it California Sunshine, Earthtone Honey and Sierra Sunrise.I then created the stripes using a ruler and a Wow Pen and embossing powders Earthtone blueberry, Earthtone Honey and Skyline Grey.  I love how it all came together, all the colors blend perfectly.

Butterflies-a-Sparkle!

Hello and thanks for stopping by the WOW! blog today. We are so happy to have you here!

Today I am going to share with you a quick little project I did to brighten up a household plant. Now for those that know me I use to be terrible with household plants. I can grow just about anything outside, but for some reason I typically have a black thumb when it comes to inside plants. But recently that has all changed...I am actually going on four years now of having the same household plants. Shocker I know!! The plant in this picture was recently re-potted into this larger container and so I wanted to dress it up a bit. I found these awesome butterfly spikes and decided to emboss them and put in the pot.

It was super easy to give them just a little color...all I did was cover them with embossing ink, cover them in embossing powder, tap off the extra embossing powder, and then heat them up! For my colors I used Sierra Sunrise, Angel Wings, and the new Vodka Sparkle (bottom picture) from the G…

Time for Tea!

It's been awhile but we're back with some fun new projects for you!  I have a piece of art that I made using WOW Metallic Gold regular embossing powder and Sierra Sunrise embossing glitter.  Using brand new Prima papers from the Divine collection, I created this paper tea cup, banner, and hot air balloon sculpture.
After constructing the parts (saucer, cup, handle, layers, balloon, banner, and posts), I wanted more sparkle.  So, I used VersaMark to roll the posts in, which are skewers, and then apply Sierra Sunrise to it.  I love this embossing glitter!  It's so sparkly and adds the perfect amount of shine.
I edged the balloon and the edges of the cup and saucer with the VersaMark and Gold Metallic Regular.   It was the perfect touch to this girly project.

Here's a close up of the edges and the saucer part.  I love this sculpture and used lots of flowers, bling and pretty touches!
I haven't gotten my hands on the new products yet, but I can tell you that th…

Wrapping up the year with WOW!

Hi WOW fans,

Happy New Years Eve! Can you believe that it is December 31st already? Where did the year go? This year marks the first ever US design team for WOW! embossing powders and our WOW! girls did a wonderful job representing our products.

When I think of New Years I think of glitter - so I have a fun glittery layout to share with you today.

Title: Merry & Bright by DT Lead Gina Lideros

I first started my layout by cutting out this 12x12 star background with my Silhouette.
Then I used my Versamark ink pad to ink the whole background in portions. I covered my background with Angel Wings embossing glitter and then heat embossed it. Because it was such a large area, I had to do a couple of layers. The result is so glittery and fun.

Next, I stamped my title Merry & bright on a shipping tag using the Merry and Bright Christmas stamp set and embossed my title and a few cut out stars using Sierra Sunrise.

Happy New Year in Style!

Jen here to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas!  I am now looking forward to celebrating the New Year! I made a fun paper crown to use as decoration or to wear when I ring in 2013!
I covered the numbers and stars with WOW Embossing glitter powder.  The numbers are Bodacious Blue Embossing Glitter and the butterfly frame behind it is Angel Wings. The stars are covered in Sierra Sunset and Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Glitter.
I made a paper medallion and attached the frame and numbers to it.  This was glued to the front of the crown.
Here you can see the edges of the crown points that are edged in Metallic Platinum Sparkle.  I just used VersaMark along the edges and then covered it with the powder.
The stars are attached to a circle punched out and a piece of floral wire between them.
I love these Embossing Glitters from WOW... they are super sparkly and don't rub off like regular glitter.  I love that I can heat set them and not worry about the sparkles falling off…

Wishing Well

I am so blessed to have the best sister in the world! I found this picture of us sitting on a Wishing Well, when we were little, and decided it was time to be scrapped! I added the Houndstooth embossing to my doily using a Crafter's Workshop Stencil. I sprinkled Wow Suzy West Earthtone Paprika over most of the circle, and finished up the rest with the Earthtone Honey. Then I added just a little Sierra Sunrise across the whole thing to give it a little glimmer. I made a dimensional Wishing Well to embellish my page. I stamped the bricks and embossed them with Wow Opaque Bright White. I further embellished it with die cut flowers and vines. The bottom of the well is open to accomodate an envelope, that stores my hidden journaling. WOW Butterflies

Hi Jenifer here with you today with a simple but beautiful layout.  I have had this wonderful picture of this group of butterflies that I took on a camping trip sitting on my worktable for years now.  It has just been to beautiful for me to really do it justice.  Until now.  As you can see I have kept the page pretty simple but still giving it plenty of pizazz.

Can you see all the sparkle?  I mixed the Sierra Sunrise Embossing Glitter with the Earthtone Honey and got a wonderful effect. For the Butterfly I used the ebony regular embossing powder and then colored it in with some color to make it look like one of the butterflies was flying out of the picture.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my post today.  Make sure you stop by everyday for all of the wonderful talent we have on this team. Jenifer

JK-5K

Today I am going to share with you a layout I made using two of my favorite WOW! Glitter Embossing Powders....Suzy West Sierra Sunrise and Black Glint (my other favorite is the Neutral Ultra Shimmer!)
Ever since I can remember I have loved to run. Even now that I am older I still love to run 5K races regularly throughout the summer. I do it because I love it and not for the time. So when I found out I had actually placed at this race I was thrilled. So to highlight this achievement I made this layout.

Since yellow is my favorite color I took yellow cardstock and cut out the JK 5K and then embossed them with the Suzy West Sierra Sunrise Embossing Powder.
Then on my chipboard numbers and letters I double embossed them by first embossing them with Ebony and then with Black Glint. I wanted to make sure they had a really good black base. I just love how the glitter embossing powder just gives your project a little extra sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back tomorrow an…
