Glintz Colours On Collage by Jaine

I love a bit of collage and for a while now I've been meaning to try out one of the black pages in my Prima Mixed Media journal. I gathered together a few neutral papers like coffee dyed paper, a dried out tea bag, some calico and a few smaller bits and pieces with the same colour theme.
I thought the new Glintz colours would look amazing on some of these different backgrounds especially as they have a pearly finish on some gorgeous subtle colours.

I wasn't disappointed with the results. Below you can see the Oyster on black which is hardly there at all in certain light.

The Rose Glintz too blends in to this piece of coffee dyed paper and harmonizes with the postage stamp in the centre of the page.

I was most curious to see how the Aztec would look on the coffee paper and I deliberately chose a piece with a huge coffee stain on the side.

It came out beautifully with a subtle shine of coppery pink.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting this page together with some stitching, washi …

WOW!...One Stamp, Different Ways...

Hello!!

How are we all?  It's that time again, a new challenge has launched and I'm here to share my examples with you.

One stamp, different ways - the possibilities are endless!!  I've used one of my favourite WOW! stamps - De-Vine.  I LOVE this stamp :)

My first card uses the stamp as a background;

I embossed the De-Vine stamp using Vintage Peacock powder on a pale turquoise card and attached this to the card base. I then cut openings in the white top layer and adhered it to the card base with foam adhesive to add a little dimension and a shadow gap between the embossing and the card front.  The sentiment was then embossed in Purple Orchid on tracing paper and mounted on lilac card.

My second card uses the emboss resist technique - one of my favourites!

For this card I embossed the De-Vine stamp in Bright White Opaque Super Fine powder and then cut out the banners.  Once I had blended the inks onto the banners, I sewed them onto the card front.  Next, I embossed the sentiments…

Follow your Dreams Layout

Hi Wow fans this is Jenifer here with you today to share my monochrome layout with you.  I chose to do different shades and textures of white.
I love the look of white on white, there really are many varying shades.  I stamped the De-Vine stamp on a piece of vellum and then layered it with a doily and thread.  The beautiful Large Rose from the Wow Mould is one of my favorites and don't be suprised to see it show up on everything.  Lastly add some sequins and a little strip of doily along the top and you are done.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my layout today :)  Make sure you stop by for more inspiration and participate in this months challenge for a wonderful prize.

Imagination is the key to any door

Hello all, Nataliya is here :)
I am very happy to be with you on the pages of WOW! blog!
I hope you do not forget to take part in our Challenge? if you are still thinking, allow me to inspire you, I hope I will succeed :)
I believe that imagination allows us to open many doors - new talent, new solutions, new friends. And this is what my work is.

I love to do texture, especially old and tattered:

Old brickwork ...

to create it, I used a mix of powders of different colors -  WJ00 PaprikaWJ02 Honey & WJ07 Nutmeg

Scaly wall ...

to create it, I used a Cracked Leather stamp and WC01 Metallic Gold Rich Pale

I stamped inscriptions on the book sheet (Collage stamp) and used WS28 Black Glint

And a bit of volume:

Have a imagination day!

A Little Love for February

Hi guys! It's Sandie here with a card I made following our February theme, which is
 ROMANCE/LOVE
I made a simple Black and White card and added splashes of purple and red.

I used the Love Beyond Measure stamp set, stamped out the LOVE with Dusty Concorde distress ink and heat embossed with Clear Gloss embossing powder. I stamped out the entwined hearts, which are also in the set, with Fired Brick ink. Then I cut it out using Nestabilities labels dies.

To embellish I added a large Prima flower, some rose buds and flowers I made using the Melt-It Powder and powder from the Sugar n Spice kit

I also want to share a card I made for last month's theme, which was ICE & SNOW, but due to my dodgy internet connection it didn't make the blog. It does have the word LOVE on it so I guess it ties nicely with this month's theme ;)

For the background I use…
