Fab Foils and Liquid Adhesive with Jenny Colacicco

Hi Everyone!   It's Jenny here and I'm excited to be joining you with another post featuring WOW!'s Fab Foils.  Today I'm focusing on black and gold which is one of my favourite color combos -  super cool but also pretty elegant in my humble opinion!

I'm using liquid adhesive to apply my foil for these cards.  I only tried this with FlitterGlu which I have used in the past for applying gold leaf.  You could try it with other glues and see if it works though!
I created a video showing you how to create these cards over on the WOW!  YouTube channel:

To create this first card, I die cut the letters using Altenew's Bold Alphabet. I die cut 5 of each letter and adhered 4 together, saving one of each letter.

I then applied FlitterGlu with an ink blending tool to the bottom of each of the letters. (I squeezed a bit out on my craft mat and dunked the blending tool in it).

Then the fun part - use WOW! Fab Foil (I used Gold) and press it into the glue - I used a bone …

Babybook with gold accents

Hello, dear friends! Victoria is on the blog today, and I want to share with you a babybook that I created for my son's photos. Babybook is an album or notebook with printed pages for photos and notes about your child. It is an easy and pretty way to store your memories. And Memories is the theme on our blog challenge in May!
The design of the pages is clean with black and gold accents, so I used a bunch of coordinating Wow products to decorate the book.

Metal embossing and making faux metal

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today with my new post for our WOW! Embossing powders Metal  monthly challenge and this time I want to show you  a few  easy and fast techniques with embossing powders over METAL. This is my Art Deco art piece made with   a lot of embossing and a lot of techniques.

And the first technique used here is a Crackled Glass technique. It's not a real tutorial, but a snap samples of different techniques, so  here it is in just a few words: Cover your cut out image(I used PWP clip art sheet) with a think layer of  VersamarkClear embossing ink and add Ultra High Clear   Gloss embossing powderover it. Heat emboss it and let it cool. Add another layer of clear embossing  ink and another layer of clear embossing powder. Third time is even better, so make it once more. Now put this glass look piece into your deep freeze section and wait for like 15 minutes. Take it off and break the " glass" with your fingers. Add some brown ink over it. You …

A great day with great embossing colors

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this time I decided to return to my primary love and to make a  summer and sun scrapbooking page.
This is my new lo made for WOW! Embossing Powders Summer/Sunshine challenge and it's so sunny and  orange and yellow that my  it really screams " Summer" . Actually it's almost a Mixed Media piece and the photo in black and white with a small die cut - Die-Versions- title are the last  second add- ons.

I made a background 7.5*15 cardstock  in Mixed Media style  with stencils (CWS and Tando Creative) and lots of embossing powders all over the gesso.
The gesso stencil's bursts were covered with Opaque Primary Mandarin,  Sherbert, Lemon,Peach Gleam and Fluorescent Yellow powders.
The flowers were stamped with WOW!Collage stamp  set  and heat embossed with Black  Ebony embossing powder. Then I stamped  partlyFlowers background using Bright White  embossing powder. A chipboard fence with a gate was added, painted with R…
