Sesil here with a quick card.  I know Valentine's Day was yesterday but that never stops me from making a card for someone I love.  We don't need a holiday to let people know that we are thinking of them or that we love them.  I love sending cards and making cards to brighten someone's day.

Today I have this simple card made by stamping the heart background and embossing on white paper with clear embossing powder.  Then I took a brush and took some ink to the paper to give the ombre effect with the red paint. I love this effect with the embossing image resisting the ink and making the images just POP.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum paper and adhered it to my hearts.

I hope you were inspired to create a card for someone you love....Just because.

Sesil here to share a quick and easy mini using the WOW! "Gratitude" Stamp Set, mini paper bags and tags.




I stamped the bags and tags with black ink and colored the images with water color pencils. I loved how easy and quick this simple mini turned out just by ONE stamp set and a couple of bags and tags.

I always have the hardest time finding the perfect color title to match my layouts. But now I can get a set of letter stickers and alter them with WOW! Embossing Powders. Here I used the Suzy West Earthtone Blueberry Regular to alter the chipboard letters to make the PERFECT Title!

Sesil hear to show you a simple but elegant card.  There are so many great ways to use WOW! Embossing Powders and Stamps.  But I wanted to bring us back to the basics. I used the Brocade Background and clear embossing powder on kraft cardstock.  I simply added a cream bow and jewled sticker on the bow to give the card more color and interest.   I love the way the embossing powder brings out the imperfections in the paper. LOVE the tone on tone look.



So grab some cardstock, background stamp, WOW! Embossing Powder and your heat tool and you can create your own Simple but yet so very Elegant Card.

I had so much fun using the "Gratitude" stamp set.  I was able to create a 3D flower by stamping and cutting out  three sets of the flower petals then layering on top of each other.  I used the border stamp along either side of the card to give it a little frame around the entire card.  I was able to use the Suzy West - Serra Sunrise Embossing Glitter to pull all the colors together on the card.

Sesil here to share a tag I created using the Suzy West Wow! Embossing Powder.
I created a tag using the "Call Me" Stamp Set and the Suzy West Earthtone Pepper Embossing Powder.


I created the tag by stamping the large background word stamp from the "Call Me" Stamp Set onto some regular lined paper with Versamark ink, then used the Suzy West Earthtone Pepper.  Heated the embossing powder, Next I tore out the image and used Peeled Paint Distress ink all over the tag then around the edges I used Clearsnap Dark Brown Chalk ink to give it more depth with the colors. I added two skeleton leaves to the tag, Added my stamped image. Then added lace, a sentiment card and a flower for an accent.  I also finished off my card with seam binding and a rose added to the center of the bow on the top of the tag. (Supplies Used:  Pattern paper: Webster's Pages, Roses and leaves: iamroses, Adhesive: Therm O Web Sticky Tape Runner, ZOTS, Other supplies: Seam binding, lace, tag)

I wanted to create a sampler of the wonderful colors the Earthtone collection has to offer.
I created my background by adhering down text paper to the canvas. Then I used coaster tiles from Technique Tuesday and used the "Floral background" stamp for the main frame. and used the script from "Call Me" stamp collection for the additional tile on some of the frames.  I added little roses to the centers of some of the open frames and just added a ribbon to the tiles frames.

OMG!! Can I just say how exciting this is to be posting the introductory post to my FABULOUS team, "Covered in Glitter."
So by now you have obviously learned of the awesomeness that is WOW! WOW Embossing Powders are amazing!! They totally add the extra pop to any card, layout, mini project or whatever you can come up with!!
Here is one of the projects I created with a plain home decor word "Love", the new Yours Truly line by Echo Park, and of course the FABULOUS stamps and powders from the hottest new must have "WOW"!!
