Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card with lots of sparkle!


The idea for this card definitely began with this fabulous sentiment from MFT. I die cut a Heffy Doodle Metric Stitched rectangle, then heat embossed the sentiment from MFT Essential Sentiments stamp set with WOW Metallic Gold Super Fine embossing powder.
Above the sentiment, I die cut the MFT Hearts in a Row Horizontal die, then adhered the panel onto my card base.

Next, I took one of the die cut hearts and covered it with embossing ink. I then heat embossed it with WOW Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing glitter.
For the other two hearts, I covered them with embossing ink again, then heat embossed them with WOW Vintage Candy Cane embossing glitter.

I adhered the two red hearts into the outer die cut spaces on the card with liquid glue. I used foam squares to add the gold sparkle heart in the centre space to finish.

Today I have two Christmas cards to share, using some beautiful embossing powders and glitters from WOW.

I love cards where the sentiment takes centre stage. I have a fun sentiment set from Hello Bluebird called 'Tis the Season', so decided to create some embossed backgrounds for the sentiments to go on.

I stamped the C&9th Plaid background stamp onto white card with the WOW embossing ink. I then embossed it with Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder, using the fabulous new dual heat embossing tool.

To add the plaid lines, I used a beautiful embossing glitter called Vintage Candy Cane, perfect for Christmas projects.

I created a second panel, using Metallic Silver embossing powder and Pacific Wave embossing glitter.
I trimmed the panels down to be 2.5 inches high, added a thin black card strip at the top, then adhered them each to the bottom of a white card base. You should be able to get two cards from each embossed panel.

I have long wondered what I love the most. But have not decided :)
So I'll tell you about a few of my favourite things:
- embossing glitter
- metallic powder
- making background
And, of course, I love butterflies :)


In this card I used a lot of WOW! EP :)
First of all, Red Metalline for the base and chipboard frame;
Vanilla White for an inscription;
Vintage Romance & Melt-It! Powder for dots;
Vintage Candy Cane to create a background;and Collage stamp for the tag.
