JOY WINTER FOREVER AND EVER

Winter Style with WOW Embossing Powders and their amazing colors and textures. Today I have a card to share with you that I created using three different tones of blue available in WOW Embossing Powder. Take a look at my card:

This month the theme is winter and I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the base and layers. Let me share how I made this:
Cut the base of card. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2".Cut a second layer using the same card stock.Make a dry embossing using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. After dry embossing, pass the WOW Embossing Pad easily over the raised up side to apply the ink and cover the card stock with  Coastal WOW Embossing Glitter.   Melt the glitter with the WOW Heat Tool.Using snow flake die cuts, cut a medium snow flake and cover it the WOW Embossing Pad.Apply Blueberry Cheesecake WOW Embossing Powder over the inked side and melt the powder with the heat tool. If you want  darker color, just repeat the process.   Using…

Where There Is Love...There Is WOW!

In general, Valentine's Day passes as most other days in our household. There are two main reasons why it doesn't live up to the hype for us. The first good reason is that we believe every day should include at least a hug, a kiss and an "I love you". The second is that within 2 weeks, my husband and I celebrate our "first date anniversary". We were together for 5 years before getting married and I want that time to count! So every year, that is our special time to focus on each other. A couple of weeks ago, the realization came to me that I have been with my husband over half my life now!! WOW!!

Inspired by my WOW! Moment and thinking about the coming event, I put together a little album where I will write some personal sentiments reminiscing on when we began our happily ever after.

On the front cover of the album, I attempted the latest Chalkboard technique. Another one of our designers shared a tutorial on this a few weeks ago.

I heat embossed in opaque…

My small altered gift box

Hello, my dear crafting friends! Today I am going to show you my new recycled gift box that can be done in no time with some chipboards and a lot of WOW Embossing powders.

So first is was this clear box I got with some embellishments from my other DT, then I've seen that this box is just perfect to be altered. I wrapped it with 4-5 different washi tapes first. The second  step was to cover this bird cage and birds chipboards from Tando Creative. The coverage was  done with Frosty white Clearsnap ink and then the cage was heat embossed with White Regular Embossing powder and   bit of  Suzy West Earthtone Honey  powder was sprinkled over it for  an older look. The birds were first white inked and then heat embossed with a mix of  Opaque Pastel blue, Glitter Blue and  Bay Area Blue powders.  Prima fabric tape was misted and then I stamped this Just Because sentiment from Wow sentiments set (not much seen due the ribbon and a bad lighting, but believe me it's seen  proper in live)

Steampunk Pendant

This time of year is perfect for sweet little sundresses and lower necklines, but I am always looking for some WOW jewelry to go with it for any occasion.  I had a Tim Holtz watch pendant that I was just itching to alter!

I added some embossing ink to the inside and added a layer of Clear Ultra High powder!  Once that was heated through, I added more to the hot powder and kept repeating the process until I had good coverage.
Gears, bird charm, and letter... Oh my!  I added Tim Holtz gears, watch parts, metal letter, and a metal bird charm in layers.  Every time I added one, I added more clear powder.   Finally, I added a sprinkle of Metallic Platinum Sparkle to create a bit of shimmer to the mix!  I love the look of resin jewelry but HATE waiting for it to dry!  The clear Ultra High is perfect because it dries so fast once you heat it up!  It's amazing for embedding items into layers.
I had these jewelry pieces for awhile and the pendant was the crowning touch!  I will defini…

All dolled up with Wow Embossing Powders

Today I am using my Cheery Lynn Dies along with some fabulous stamps and embossing powders from Wow Embossing Powders by the lovely Suzy West. I cam across this adorable bookmark on Etsy:

I always look at things and think..ooh, I could do that even though I do not have the exact supplies the original was made out of.  With all my Cheery Lynn Designs dies, I knew I would be able to make my own version of this Japanese Kokeshi doll.  I also knew I wanted to use all of my WOW EMBOSSING GLITTERS and WOW STAMPS to accentuate the patterned papers I was going to use for the doll. Here is my version...

My doll is much bigger than the bookmark and I have turned it into a plaque rather than a bookmark.

For the doll and clothing I used Scalloped Circle Stackers and Scalloped Oval Stackers.

I enhanced the dies and patterned paper with the Wow Embossing Powders and Stamps. You can see the sparly patterns on the dress and the background and I used one of the WOW STAMPS from the "CALL ME" for th…

Thank you so very much by Sesil Cratin

I had so much fun using the "Gratitude" stamp set.  I was able to create a 3D flower by stamping and cutting out  three sets of the flower petals then layering on top of each other.  I used the border stamp along either side of the card to give it a little frame around the entire card.  I was able to use the Suzy West - Serra Sunrise Embossing Glitter to pull all the colors together on the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think of the great WOW! Embossing Powders and stamps.  Hope you have an inspired day!

Sunshine around us: WOW style

Hello, my dearWow friends! It's Irit here again and this time I am going to share my new page made with lots of gold and yellow and a lot of sunshine around us.

I took this photo during our Georgia (the country, not the state) last summer trip and this fantastic fresh sunflower was all I needed for this summer shining page.

I used Pion's Designs papers (but nobody can see it after all this messy and massive misting, painting and embossing).
The basic mists were made with Tando Creative masks (flowers and leaves). Then those green dots were heat embossed with Suzy West Earthtone Olive Regular embossing powder(I used a clear embossing ink over the  Dots mask ) and heat embossed it after.
The K&Co velvet title was also heat embossed with Suzy West Sierra Sunrise gold embossing powder.
The flower chipboard from A2Z Scraplets was white inked (as this bare brown gives all embossing powders some mute look). Then I heat embossed the leaves with the same Earthtone Olive and added some S…

Getting ready for the big day!! Plus a DT call!!

You know it's CHA time because I haven't been going to bed til' 2am and I've been getting up at around 5am!! LOL This is what happens every year for a lot of designers. We don't sleep. LOL We eat, breath, and think CHA. I can't wait to see the HUGE CHA sign that hangs in front of the convention center. I think that's when it becomes real for me. It becomes even more real when we get in and see the HUGE room that looks like a warehouse and there are no rugs, no curtains, no displays...nothing and realize...Oh ya...that's me that has to put this booth together. LOLI'm excited about the ton of projects my team have created for the booth! They are so beautiful!! As you can see they are super creative!!! I would like to give a special shout out to them and to my wonderful lead designers! They have worked endless amount of hours to make sure everything is ready! So shout out to Jen Deal, Erin Payne, Gina Lideros, Angel Bartonico, and Tricia Wilson. I wan…
