Make A Wish

I wanted to create a Birthday card, but wanted a little dimension on it. So I pulled out my WOW powders, a stamp set, some blooms, chippies and pop dots! I found some scrap Websters Pages papers that would work and got busy!

Here is the finished card:

I used the Suzy West "Make a Wish" stamp set, along with the Suzy West Sour Lemon regular, Bubble Gum regular, and Opaque Bright White regular embossing powders. I used the Sour Lemon and the "Make A Wish" sentiment  stamp around the edge of the base. I also embossed the chipboard scallop border with it. I used the Opaque Bright white in the center. The flourish is done with the Bubble Gum.

I used a generic leaf stamp and made some tiny leaves to go with the little blooms. The bling accent is from Websters Pages. As well as the little cake.

Here you see the pink flourish behind the blooms. I added liquid pearl accents to the banner and used pop dots for dimension.

Quick and Easy Card

Hello everyone, hope it's a great Monday for everyone!  Have you ever needed a quick card for just a "hello", or "feel better" or "just because", but didn't have a lot of time? Well, this little card can be done in a jiffy and you can use any colors or sentiments that you want. And you can also use your own handwriting for the reason for the sentiment!!!

All you need is white cardstock, a couple of blooms, and miscellaneous stamps! This is just a 5x7 card with the five little banners. I used a stamp for the first part of the sentiment, then used my own "hello". So you can customize your greeting! I used markers for some "faux stitching" and that was it! Easy! This is just one that you can do really quickly. You could use colored cardstock for a different look, and you could mix your colors on your banners, lots of combinations!!!

Here are the supplies that I used:

A Spring Card

I thought I would share a bright and colorful card since the weather has been so yucky here! We had snow last week, and now we've just had rain. I'm ready for sunny and warm weather! So I made a sunny card!

For this card I used the Gummy Bear Green, Bubble Gum and Opaque Pastel Blue powders on this card. I embossed my die-cut shapes of the medallion, blooms and leaves. The medallion is a Spellbinders die, along with the white leaves.

For the blooms I just cut four petal blooms and layered two after they were embossed. I just used stickles in the centers.

The leaves were just hand cut and embossed and curled. It's just a little different look. You can still bend and shape the blooms and the leaves as long as you are careful, you can't be too rough or the embossing will crack.

I just wanted to try something that I hadn't done before with my powders! I think some pen work might have finished them off a little more, next time I will try that too!!! Thanks for dropping by!…

LOVE

Hi All!! So glad you stopped by today to visit the WOW! blog.

Today I am going to share with you a card I made that can be given really to just about anyone special in your life that you love. The color of the background is totally up to you and can easily be changed depending on if you wanted to give this to a male or female. For this card I used Bubble Gum Embossing Powder from the Suzy West Candy Counter Collection, and Opaque Bright White and Gold Rich Embossing Powders from the WOW! Collection. I also used the Suzy West "Gratitude" Stamp Set to make the hearts.

So I started out by using a piece of bubble wrap that I inked up with embossing ink and then pressed onto my white cardstock. I then sprinkled it with the Bubble Gum Embossing Powder, tapped off the excess, and then heated it up.

Next I stamped out four sets of hearts from the Gratitude Stamp Set on black cardstock, and colored them by making two Opaque Bright White and two Gold Rich. I then cut out the hearts and a…

WOW Embossing Powders = WOW Projects!

Hi everybody!!! Amy Prior here today to share some recent creations using fabulous WOW Embossing Powders. I love WOW powders mainly because they are so easy to add the perfect touches to any project and without too much fuss or effort if that is what I am going for. Checkout these projects featuring small WOW details that help take these projects from Good to WOW! hehe yes I am a dork who likes play on words.....
First up is a fabulous card that would warm the coldest of hearts on any occassion. At first glance, the WOW powder may not be as obvious however the Chipboard words have been coated with a layer of one of my faves, Suzy West Bubblegum Pink, and the beautiful Handmade Halo Resin Flower in the centre of my "sun" was originally a pretty shade of peach. Peach just didn't work perfectly so a quick coat of Suzy West California Sunshine and we are back in business! How cool is this card and it honestly was such a quickie for me! The longest part was waiting for the Hel…

Time Flies

Good day everyone!! It's Tanisha here again with another layout to share with you.

I have finally had the chance to work with the Build A Butterfly Stamp set and I am LOVING it!!  It's super versatile since the outline and fill-ins are individual stamps.  I used the set here on this layout along with embossing powders in Bubblegum and Opaque Pastel Blue and embossing glitters in Black Glint and Neutral Ultra Shimmer.

In order to really make my butterflies pop, I stamped and embossed them directly on the layout and then onto a piece of patterned paper.  I cut the butterflies from the paper and then adhered them with pop dots over the one directly on the layout.

This stamp set and WOW's amazing array of colors makes it really easy to pull colors from your layouts and create stunning embellishments!

Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter makes everything look amazing!!  I used it to add some oomph to some of the die cuts.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have…

Heart to Heart by Jamie Cripps

Hi guys!  It's Jamie back with you today and I am sharing another fun way to bring a little something extra to your projects!
I found this adorable felt heart at Target sold in a three pack.  I love all the detail already cut into the felt, but I really wanted it to stand out so I trimmed a white piece of cardstock that would fit behind the heart and inked it up with a clear embossing ink.  I then sprinkled the Berrylicious and Bubble Gum Embossing Powders over the cardstock and removed the excess powder then heat set it.  I adhered the felt heart on top of the embossing once it cooled and just look at all that shimmer and shine it brings...

Wee Ruby at the moment had seamed to of stolen all my scrapping time.  I have a few photos that I just love and these are some of them.  These photos were taken on Christmas Day and its her first time at blowing bubbles.  :-)
I had lots of fun playing round with The wee birds off  IS IT A BIRD stamp set.  I embossed the birds onto some Water colour paper and then painted them up with some distress ink  Then I fussy cut them out and added a touch of NEUTRAL ULTRA SHIMMER EMBOSSING GLITTER, I can see that I will be playing with this product again really soon.  I see flowers coated in them,  yum! and added them to my layout.  I used the SO GRATEFUL  stamp set to add texture by the …
