Valentine Box

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share this altered Valentine box that I created.
I had this heart shaped box laying around for just the right project to re decorate and with Valentines day coming up right around the corner I thought now was the time.  I first covered the box with some white on white patterned paper and then embossed over the top of that.
Here is a close up of some of the beautiful Wow Embossing powders.  Don't you just LOVE how nice and sparkly they are?
Once I had the base layer completed I then just layered ribbons and flowers until I had the desired look.  Don't throw away those fun boxes next time turn them into little pieces of art.

Winter Ornament

Happy Holidays Wow fans :)  this is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun ornament that I spruced up with a little bit of sparkle to add to your tree.
Earlier this year I found these tiny pine cones on the ground and collected a handful and they have been waiting for just the right project.  As you can see I added a little bit of texture paste on them and sprinkled a bit of the glacier mint and primary frozen embossing powder on them and it looks like there is a nice layer of ice and snow on them.  I love how it turned out.
I added some little white paper flowers and pearls and bells to help finish my ornament off.  Have you ever thought about sprucing up some of your ornaments?  Now I hope I have inspired you to give it a try :)

Sparkly Wreath

Welcome WoW fans :)  This is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun sparkly wreath I made.  It is so cool my daughter stole it from me before the powders were even dry..  LOL I cut a circle ring out of a piece of cardboard and then stamped and embossed an entire sheet of leaves.  I layered them on the cardboard and added a fun ribbon tassel and a fantastic glitter velvet bow.  The glitter reindeer is an old Christmas ornament that went perfect with the beautiful sparkle of the powders.
Here is a close up of some of the sparkle.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Special Gift Box or Ornanment

Hi Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my "anything but a card" project. It's never to early to start planning for Christmas right?  So I came up with this little gift ornament. I made this little box and then embossed around the edges to make it look like it might be frosted glass.  I then created this little Snowflake medallion to take center stage.  Top it all off with a beautiful glitter edged bow and you have yourself a fun ornament that could be hung on the tree.
If you didn't want to hang it you could always use it as a fun little gift box for some special treats.  How would you use it?

Goofing Around Fall Layout

Welcome Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun layout with you today using some of the new stamp sets that just came out this month.  I used the new flights of fancy stamp set to create these fun leaves on my layout.  I used the glitter foil and a few shades of Embossing powders to give my leaves a wonderful sparkly effect.
It was hard getting a good close up of the different leaves.
As you can see on the first leaf I used the foil and the next couple I used the Chocolate Caramel Pearl and all the way to the right I used Daytona Sands.  I love how it all just sparkles and shines making this a perfect Fall layout.

Beauty Layout

Welcome Wow fans, Jenifer here with you today to share a layout I created using some of the new stamps, embossing colors and moulds.
I just knew when I saw the new Long Island Teal embossing powder I had to use it.  It coordinated with this picture that I took of a robins nest that we had in our tree a few years ago and it just went from there.
I stamped with the Chrysanthemum stamp directly onto the wood grain patterned paper to give it just a pop of color.  I sprayed a little gold, teal and white mists onto the paper and let them blend and drip down the page.  I layered some string and doilies together to balance out my picture and called it good.

I have been asking for a feather mould for a long time now and I can tell you it was definitely worth the wait.  Just look how beautiful they are and with all of the detail I know that I will be using them on tons of things.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my layout today, make sure you stop by often to see some of my teammate…

Watercolor Happy Birthday

Hi there Wow fans this is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun technique.  I have a ton of art supplies that I really don't know how to use.  Right now watercolor is such a popular trend that I thought I would give it a try.
I found these metallic watercolors for under 5$ at Michaels.  I embossed my Sexi-Hexi stamp with Ebony embossing powders and then I just roughly colored in the spaces.  I wanted to try out a bunch of the colors so I went with a rainbow pattern.

Here is a close up, can you see how it sparkles.  I finished everything off with a bright silk ribbon and a statement.  I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  Give watercolor a try, it's really fun.

Summer Fun

Welcome Wow fans!!  This is Jenifer here with you today to share my summer project.  I went with a fun layout about splashing in the water.

Wow has a large variety of shades of blue powders and I wanted to try and create the illusion of bubbles.  I used a Dreamweaver stencil and some whipped spackle from Faber Castell.  Before the whipped spackle could dry I put a small amount of several blue Wow powders over the top and heated them with a heat gun.

Can you see how cool this looks in the close up?  It is so hard to get a good picture of all the sparkle, but it is there and I LOVE how it turned out.
Here is another close up.
I hope you have enjoyed my summer project for today and I hope you give this technique a try.

Simply Amazing Layout

Welcome Wow fans this is Jenifer here with you today to share my layout that I made the fantastic sketches.  I decided to do a monochromatic layout using white and yellow and I just LOVE how it turned out.
I centered my layout around this pretty picture of a flower that I had taken years ago and it was just itching to be scraped.
I embossed opposite corners with the Sexi Hexi Stamp and the Sunny Yellow embossing powder.  I used a little bit of texture paste to give my layout a little more dimension.
I used the Lace Stamp with Bright White Embossing Powder then using a yellow water color I colored over the top and then cut around the image.

Watercolor inspiration

Hi there Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my project.  I drew my inspiration from this oh so talented team, from Nicole, did you happen to see her beautiful butterfly card?  I was drawn to it and just knew I had to give this technique a try.  She has a wonderful video of her process as well, you can check it out here :)
I chose the Lace stamp from WOW and just colored in some of the flowers with different colors of watercolor.  The image was a little hard to see on the white cardstock so I went around it with a smokey grey watercolor to make it pop just a little bit.
As you can see I need a little bit more practice but I am happy with the result.  This is a pretty easy technique and I will definitely be trying it again soon.  Thank you so much Nicole for the inspiration. Key to my Heart Canvas

Hi there WOW fans, I am so excited to be showing you my canvas project today.  I absolutely love, love love how it turned out. I just love all the different textures going on here and I can't wait to put it in a frame.

I had a canvas from another project that I just didn't like any more that was painted a light pink.  I sketched out a heart in the center of the canvas.  Using a stencil and some spackle (spackle is used to patch walls and is found at the hardware store, it is very inexpensive).  Pour your embossing powder over the spackle and lightly tap off the extra and heat set.  Not only do you have a wonderful glittery effect but the spackle gives it more dimension like it is double embossed.  Give it a try the results are awesome.
Here is a close up of my flower cluster.
For the heart I tore small scraps of patterned paper and adhered them with Mod Podge, when I was satisfied with that I Mod Podged some white tissue paper over top to the patterned paper scraps, making su…

Joy Mixed Media Ornament

Hi Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my mixed media project with you.  I am definitely in the Christmas mood so I ended up making an ornament.  Just wait till you see what I made this out of :)
I added a piece of patterned paper from DCWV on all sides of the box and then using an embossing ink pad I ran it down all the edges and then using opaque bright white embossing powder it made it look like a snowy glass window.  I love how it turned out, and I think I will be making a set to hang on the tree this year.

I stamped Joy using the "Deck the Halls" Stamp set in Metallic Platnum splarkle embossing glitter then cut our around the stamp and adhered it with some foam squares.  All the ribbons are from May Arts and the deer die is from Spellbinders.  Top the ribbon off with a Foliage Button and you are now good to go.
I used the box from a package of soap to make my ornament, I snapped a picture quick before I finished it up.  What could you recycle to turn…

Let it Snow tag

Good Morning, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my 1 stamp 2 ways project with you.  I was inspired by the card that I made for the 3L hop that I continued with the stamp and had some fun.

First I Stamped the "Me Blizzard" on a white shipping tag using Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter.  I then sprayed it with some glitter mist and then wiped off the extra with a tissue.  I sprayed a few areas again to make it a bit darker in a few spots wiping off the extra with a tissue. Using the "ME Blizzard" stamp, stamp another image on a piece of white card stock using the Blue Lagoon embossing glitter.  Cut out a complete snowflake and layer it with ribbons and a small medallion.  I love how the Blue Lagoon looks so sparkly and pretty:)  Finally layer, layer, layer your desired ribbons, doilies etc.
I am so happy with how this tag turned out I think I might make a few more and frame them for a Christmas display. WOW Supplies: ME Blizzard-Stamp Blue Lagoon Ultra Shimm…

Let it Snow card by Jenifer Cowles I had so much fun using the foam sheets from 3L.  I took off the protective backing then sprinkled on the Metallic Blue Ultra and heated it then ran it through my embossing machine.  I used a small dot embossing folder from Cuttlebug, I then sanded lightly giving me the small white polka dots.  I love how this looks and I can't wait to play around with some more foam sheets.
Here is a close up.  I stamped the "ME Blizzard" snowflake stamp on a piece of vellum using Bright White  embossing powder and attached it with the EZ-runner.  I did the Let it Snow with a Wow pen and some Metal…
