Christ the Lord is Born - Raluca Vezeteu

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space!  Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing another sparkling Christmas card.


For my card I played with the fabulous WS167 Unicorn Magic glitter embossing powder, along with these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.

I started my card by preparing a ombre watercolor background using some cheap watercolors. After the panel dried, I added white splatters all over it for a more wintery feel. Although I adore to create cute Christmas cards with adorable critters, Santa and kids, I also love to create cards that show what Christmas really means for me! And the stamp that I used today does exactly this.

Winter Greetings - Raluca

For my card I played with the fabulous WS49 Vintage Peacock, WS78 Seaglass and the lovely WS149 Taffeta Pink, along with these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.

I started my card by die cutting a panel from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5. I absolutely love this cardstock! It's just a smooth, bright white and it's perfect for heat embossing and for coloring with alcohol markers! Definitely a must have in every crafter's stash!

For my card I played with the fabulous WS26 Metallic Platinum Sparkle, along with these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat. First I chose a beautiful pattern paper from FabScraps and die cut it a large panel that I glued on a grey card base.  Next I die cut a second panel, this time smaller, using a scalloped rectangle die and glued it on a grey panel, slightly larger.
