HELLO LITTLE FLOWERS

Hello crafty friends, It's Martha Lucia and it's my turn to share with you! I hope you are enjoying our projects this month using flowers because this is my favorite theme - I love flowers and the Hey Little Flowers stamp set is one of my favorites right now. Take a look at my card:

I started by stamping the background with lineal flowers included on the stamp set Hey Little Flower using WOW Embossing Pad and then heat embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Regular Embossing Powder. Next, I tied on some natural thread cord and then built the rest of the card from there. I wanted to use the new colors of WOW Embossing Powders and I decided to use Strawberry Sundae, Mind Macaroon and Banana Split to stamp each flower ... delicious, right???

First I stamped each flower using WOW Embossing Pad and then heat embossed these with these three different colors of WOW Regular Embossing Powder, all inspired by Marion Emberson as well as both stamp sets that I used, the Hey Little Flower and th…

Embossed Butterflies!

I want to share a really easy technique that is one of my favorite things to change up a stamp. It's nothing new, you've probably seen it a thousand times, but this time of year seems to lend itself to using this technique more with the Fall colors and leaves! I decided to use it with butterflies.

Here are the supplies that I used:

Build a Butterfly Stamp Set Flowers background Stamp Neutral Ultra Shimmer powder Clear Gloss powder

First, I took the stamp and inked it up with the three similar colors that I chose. Then I used a darker color and stamped the outline of the butterfly. Let it dry completely. Then cover the image completely with Versamark or other embossing ink and cover with clear powder. Heat with your heat gun. Let cool and cut out with fine tip scissors. I made 3 for this card.

For the background image, I used the Flowers background stamp, I inked it the same way mixing the colors, then instead of using clear, I used the Neutral Ultra Shimmer powder and embossed it.

Glitter resist tutorial

Hello!  Jen Roach and today I have an embossing resist tutorial to share with you today using the WOW! Ultra Shimmer Embossing glitter and the Flowers backgrounder stamp.  So let's get started.....

First I printed out some dictionary text digital paper onto some cardstock and stamped the Flowers backgrounder onto it with Versamark ink.

Then I heat embossed with WOW! Ultra Shimmer Embossing glitter.

Next I took some Ranger Distress inks in blue and teal tones and applied all over the surface with a blending tool.  Start with the lighter tones and then apply the darker until you achieve the look you're going for.

Here's a close up of the finished image panel.  As you can see the glitter embossing powder works really well for the resist technique.

To create the finished card I trimmed my image panel, matted onto some white scalloped cardstock and then embellished with some lace, ribbon and flowers.

Supplies:
WOW! Embossing Powder:  WOW! Ultra Shimmer Embossing glitter.

Thank you card and a lot of embossing

Hello, my dear crafty friends! Iritis here today and this time I am going to show you my new and very much embossed card.
For a long 4-5 month I was doing scrapbooking pages and altered projects for this  blog and this month was my turn to make a card. So I made one and then I decided to enter it to the web magazine and they  took it for the publication.Good news and bad news. As this card can't be posted here till August and I had to make another card for this post.
So here is the new card-summer colors, but in a kind of a muter way.
I very simple card made for WOW Embossing Powders blog post.

I used this Flowers Wow stamp and then heat embossed it with 4 summery embossing powders: Sour Lemon, Whirly Pop, Gummy Bear Green, Cotton Candy
My  tip here is to use a white pigment ink and not a Clear embossing one as I really want to see that the whole stamp will be shown. The second tip is  to put your cardstock on the top of your inked stamp and to use some roller  to get better impression…

Scrapbooking with a WOW Factor!

Hi everyone! Amy Prior here today to share with you all some fabulous recent layouts that I have created using WOW Embossing Powders and Stamp Sets. These fabulous products have such an amazing array of uses in Scrapbooking and I hope my layouts below will show you new ways of using your Embossing Powders in Scrapbooking Layouts.
The first layout I have to share today is of some sky high photos I recently took on my plane trip across the beautiful Australian Country side. For this first layout, I have used the Songbird Collection from Prima Marketing which I have teamed up with some fabulous Lace, Twine & Cheesecloth.
This embossed effect on the background was created using the Crafters Workshop Template Tile Texture 12x12 and WOW Embossing Powder White Opaque.

These gorgeous Chipboard birds from A2Z Scraplets got a coat of subtle Crackle Paint followed by some random ink splattering. To top off these beauties, I have added subtle bits of White Opaque WOW Embossing Powder. I just ad…

It's Clear

Hey there blog fans--  Tanisha here with a special project for a special lady.  I'm sure you are aware that this month is just about over, which means Mother's Day is right around the corner.

I used my 2 new favorite (for now) WOW powders, Clear Gloss Ultra High and Neutral Ultra Shimmer glitter and the Flowers background stamp to create this canvas for mom.

I sporadically stamped the background with the stamp and embossed with Clear Gloss Ultra High.  I used several different inks to add color to the canvas and then used a damp paper towel to remove the ink from the embossing leaving a  masked look.

I used Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter on the flowers, the canvas background and the photo corners.  I love how the powders melt to clear glittery gloss allowing the color of the embellishments to shine through.
I have to admit, these 2 powders are addictive!  I literally had to stop myself from covering the entire canvas in glitter!

That's all from me today.  Thanks f…

All dolled up with Wow Embossing Powders

Today I am using my Cheery Lynn Dies along with some fabulous stamps and embossing powders from Wow Embossing Powders by the lovely Suzy West. I cam across this adorable bookmark on Etsy:

I always look at things and think..ooh, I could do that even though I do not have the exact supplies the original was made out of.  With all my Cheery Lynn Designs dies, I knew I would be able to make my own version of this Japanese Kokeshi doll.  I also knew I wanted to use all of my WOW EMBOSSING GLITTERS and WOW STAMPS to accentuate the patterned papers I was going to use for the doll. Here is my version...

My doll is much bigger than the bookmark and I have turned it into a plaque rather than a bookmark.

For the doll and clothing I used Scalloped Circle Stackers and Scalloped Oval Stackers.

I enhanced the dies and patterned paper with the Wow Embossing Powders and Stamps. You can see the sparly patterns on the dress and the background and I used one of the WOW STAMPS from the "CALL ME" for th…
