Joy Mixed Media Ornament

Hi Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my mixed media project with you.  I am definitely in the Christmas mood so I ended up making an ornament.  Just wait till you see what I made this out of :)
I added a piece of patterned paper from DCWV on all sides of the box and then using an embossing ink pad I ran it down all the edges and then using opaque bright white embossing powder it made it look like a snowy glass window.  I love how it turned out, and I think I will be making a set to hang on the tree this year.

I stamped Joy using the "Deck the Halls" Stamp set in Metallic Platnum splarkle embossing glitter then cut our around the stamp and adhered it with some foam squares.  All the ribbons are from May Arts and the deer die is from Spellbinders.  Top the ribbon off with a Foliage Button and you are now good to go.
I used the box from a package of soap to make my ornament, I snapped a picture quick before I finished it up.  What could you recycle to turn…

Stars And Stripes And Falling Leaves

Hi! Birgit here with a fall themed stars and stripes blog post.
When we were at the woods for a nice fall walk recently I picked up some leaves to take home. I wasn't sure what to do with them, thought I'd might paint or draw on them as I had seen some fabulous leaves on the internet.
And then, when I was wondering what to create for today's blog post I saw the dried leaves lying on my desk and wondered if it would be possible to emboss them. I was thrilled to discover how well that goes!
The leaves I created are really quick and easy to make and I think they are a great eye catcher on a fall table. Or maybe frame them? I can imagine 3 frames next to each other with one leaf in the middle of each of them. Smaller leaves would be perfect to use on a scrapbook page or the focus point on a nice card...

What do you need to create these? First of all leaves that had the chance to dry for a couple of days. I had 2 different ones and they both worked well but I can imagine that …

WOW! Winter Tags

Hello there!! Tanisha here with a couple of quick tags that I created using WOW's amazing stamps and embossing powders.

I used Little Yellow Bicycle's beautiful Winterings Line for these tags.  I started by cutting tags shapes from patterned papers, stamping and embossing the background and then layering elements to finish them off.

"Let It Snow" tag:  I stamped the background with a tree from the Deck The Halls Stamp set and embossed with Opaque Bright White powder.  I inked the edged of the "snow drifts" and embossed with Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter to enhance the look of the "snow" before adding to the tag.  I used WOW embossing pen to write the sentiment and then embossed with Primary Bark.

"Welcome Winter" tag:  I stamped the entire background using the French Music stamp and embossed with Earthtone Honey before adding my embellishments.

We are about to be bombarded with the holidays...pull out your WOW supplies and adapt t…
