JOY WINTER FOREVER AND EVER

Winter Style with WOW Embossing Powders and their amazing colors and textures. Today I have a card to share with you that I created using three different tones of blue available in WOW Embossing Powder. Take a look at my card:

This month the theme is winter and I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the base and layers. Let me share how I made this:
Cut the base of card. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2".Cut a second layer using the same card stock.Make a dry embossing using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. After dry embossing, pass the WOW Embossing Pad easily over the raised up side to apply the ink and cover the card stock with  Coastal WOW Embossing Glitter.   Melt the glitter with the WOW Heat Tool.Using snow flake die cuts, cut a medium snow flake and cover it the WOW Embossing Pad.Apply Blueberry Cheesecake WOW Embossing Powder over the inked side and melt the powder with the heat tool. Life's A Beach

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you're all well and getting very creative this month!
As this month's challenge is summer and I live on an island it seemed only natural that my inspiration card would feature sea and sand.
To create my beach scene I started off with a piece of pale blue card and a rubbed a Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad across the top several times. I then sprinkled WOW Peppermint Tea Powder and Under The Sea Glitter over the top, tapped off the excess and melted with a heat tool. I created the sand underneath using Gold Pearl Powder.

For the sea I ran a line of PVA glue in the middle of the sky and sand with my finger, sprinkled with Under The Sea Glitter and melted with a heat tool. For the waves I added small areas of PVA straight from the nib of the bottle when added Opaque White Powder.

The birds and sentiment I have used Opaque British Summer Powder which is one of my favourite new powders, great colour and great name!
Finally, I added beach in…

Spring Has Sprung!

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been getting inspired by all the beautiful makes on the blog this month. As the weather is getting better I thought I would create a fresh, modern looking card for you.

1 Take a 17.5 X 12.5cm square white card blank and die-cut a circle through the front towards the top. Hand draw orange lines around the outside edges.

2 Stamp the Tropical stamp on vellum with a clear embossing pad and sprinkle with Opaque Bright White embossing powder. Tap off the excess and melt with a heat tool.

3 Stamp a sentiment in blue ink,  sprinkle with Midnight Dream embossing powder and melt as before. Cut into two pennants and attach to the left hand side of the circular aperture.

4 Attach the vellum behind the aperture with foam pads. Stamp flowers from the Hey Little Flower stamp set in three pretty colours and emboss with different powders. Layer up some of the flowers with foam pads.
5 Attach two flowers above the sentiment with foam pads. Glue twine to the backs of the othe…

Nature's Abode - Altered Mixed Media Tin

Hey everyone! It's Fran here with today's WOW! inspiration and this month I have a cute altered tin lid to share with you.

I was inspired by the beautiful colours of Spring and the mix of rustic textures mixed with soft pastels and flowers.

I have used the Flights of Fancy leaves stamped onto acetate with WOW clear embossing ink then sprinkled the leaves with Under The Sea, Bluetiful, White Pearl and Metallic Copper powders. I then melted the powder to create a 3D warped effect, as the acetate distorts with the heat and sets into a realistic shape once cool.Stamping details have been added to the background paper using a stamp from the Sparkle & Shine with clear embossing ink and Opaque White powder.

For the "nest" I mixed Melt-It powder with Metallic Copper and Opaque White powder to create a beige colour and poured onto a heat resistant mat in a swirl. The little vellum butterfly has been coloured with an embossing pen and highlighted with Bluetiful embossing …
