Smile Card

Jen Matott here with a card that brings a little bit of sunshine to the recipient. I used the "Call Me" stamp for this simple card!
First, I stamped on the card front directly and used Earthtone Pepper.  I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Olive Vine.  Once dry, I used a sentiment stamp in the upper left corner.  I stamped a corner of the stamp on the small shipping tag and used Earthtone Honey on it.
I tied a piece of ribbon on the tag and layered it over the corner of the first stamp so that it matched up.  It gives it a little pop of drama... A little sunshine.

Create your own easy Pin Stripes

Hi everyone! Amy Prior here today to share a fabulous and easy little tutorial on how to make your own Pin Striped backgrounds. Best thing about stripes is they never seem to go out of fashion!!!!

Today I am going to create a card and although I am starting off with this amazing fun 6x6 paper from Prima, I am actually going to create my own background using this baby as a base. First off you will need some Double Sided Tape in any size you like. I decided to use 3 different sizes here.

Rip off pieces of the Double Sided Tape and place them on your page to make stripes. You can do them as close or as far apart as you like and you can do any pattern you like if you are using more than 1 thickness.

Once the Double Sided Tape is all adhered, trim off the excess using your craft knife or a pair of scissors. I found this step easier by flipping it all upside down and using my craft knife carefully.

Next step of course is to remove the backing off the tape. My girls helped with this part LOL t…

British Themed Gift...

Hello Wow blog readers...

It's Sarah here and I've been playing with the Wow stamps and embossing powders to create a fabulous British themed project. With all the wonderful celebrations that we had earlier this month, I was invited along to a themed Jubilee party and encouraged to wear Red, White & Blue. I sorted my outfit but wanted something unique to complete the look and that's when I had the idea of creating my own earrings...

Looking at the telephone box from the 'Call Me' Wow Stamp Set, I thought if this was used on Heat Shrink paper, it would become the perfect size for some cool British themed earrings.

A wooden frame for Jubilee time

Hello Everyone!  As it´s Jubilee time everywere and we also do have a Jubilee theme for our challenge I also have a project fitting for this wonderfull occation. As you can see it´s a wooden board for photos.  I have used:
WOW! Embossing Powders in: Metalline dark blue Metallic Silver WC05 Metalline Red WG01 Metallic Brass WC03 WOW!Fab Folis in: Dark Blue RedBonding Powder WOW! Clear Stamp Sets: Call Me Funky Borders and Strips

I have created the telephone box by using fab foils in red on bonding powder. I just rub gentley over the foil and did not use my iron for getting this little shabby effect.

On the edges of my wooden photoboard I was experimenting a little bit with using embossing powder and foil tougether. The effect is amazing as the powders and foils are melting tougether. It looks like a wave in the sea on a sunny day. :o)  You must try it too but don´t forget to use a sheet of backing paper between the powders/foils and your iron!!!
Have a crafty day! xx Bianca

Sister Tag

Hi everyone. It's Sandie here and it's my turn to spread a little inspiration using WOW! products.
Today I have created a 'Sister' tag. I inked the tag with distress ink before stamping the backround using Call Me clear stamp set in Brushed Cordoroy ink.

I then heat embossed one of the cute images from the Child's Play clear stamp set with Bright White embossing powder and trimmed it out. I adhered it to a kraft die cut with 3D foam dots.

The sentiment is from Simply Amazing clear stamp set and I also used Bright White on that. To embellish I added some velvet ric-rac and green satin ribbon.

Sail With Me

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I've got a layout to share with you this morning using more of my favorite  Wow Embossing Powders.
The chipboard accent to the right of my picture is from Twiddleybitz and is a two part design. I love the look of embossing on detailed chipboard. On the bottom piece, I covered it with Wow Embossing Powder Copper Regular. After it was heat-set, I stamped script from the Call Me Stamp set using Archival Ink. The top piece was embossed with the Suzy West Cotton Candy powder, and then was spritzed with Goosebumps, and added some Opaque White Regular to give the appearance of splashing waves.

All dolled up with Wow Embossing Powders

Today I am using my Cheery Lynn Dies along with some fabulous stamps and embossing powders from Wow Embossing Powders by the lovely Suzy West. I cam across this adorable bookmark on Etsy:

I always look at things and think..ooh, I could do that even though I do not have the exact supplies the original was made out of.  With all my Cheery Lynn Designs dies, I knew I would be able to make my own version of this Japanese Kokeshi doll.  I also knew I wanted to use all of my WOW EMBOSSING GLITTERS and WOW STAMPS to accentuate the patterned papers I was going to use for the doll. Here is my version...

My doll is much bigger than the bookmark and I have turned it into a plaque rather than a bookmark.

For the doll and clothing I used Scalloped Circle Stackers and Scalloped Oval Stackers.

I enhanced the dies and patterned paper with the Wow Embossing Powders and Stamps. You can see the sparly patterns on the dress and the background and I used one of the WOW STAMPS from the "CALL ME" for th…

Vintage dressform card with a touch of WOW!

Hello!  Jennifer Roach here and today I’m sharing a vintage inspired card I created featuring an embellished chipboard dress form and WOW! Cotton Candy embossing powder from the Candy Counter collection.

Using the embossing powder and stamping on my card added lots of fun texture and shine and of course a nice pop of colour.  I added more texture to the card by embossing the background paper with an embossing folder and adding some sewing across the ribbon and up the left hand side of bracket shaped paper.

And here are more details on how I added WOW! To my card:

To create the embossed dress form:  I sprayed it with dark brown ink and allowed to dry.  Then I stamped the dress form in Versamark ink with the script stamp (masking with paper to make sure I only got the script part) and heated emboss with Cotton Candy embossing powder.  I embellished it with a ribbon bow and flower.

To create the embossed edge on the bracket shape paper:  I took a Versamark pen, outlined the edge of the paper…

Celebrate Tag by: Sesil Cratin

Sesil here to share a tag I created using the Suzy West Wow! Embossing Powder.
I created a tag using the "Call Me" Stamp Set and the Suzy West Earthtone Pepper Embossing Powder.

I created the tag by stamping the large background word stamp from the "Call Me" Stamp Set onto some regular lined paper with Versamark ink, then used the Suzy West Earthtone Pepper.  Heated the embossing powder, Next I tore out the image and used Peeled Paint Distress ink all over the tag then around the edges I used Clearsnap Dark Brown Chalk ink to give it more depth with the colors. I added two skeleton leaves to the tag, Added my stamped image. Then added lace, a sentiment card and a flower for an accent.  I also finished off my card with seam binding and a rose added to the center of the bow on the top of the tag. (Supplies Used:  Pattern paper: Webster's Pages, Roses and leaves: iamroses, Adhesive: Therm O Web Sticky Tape Runner, ZOTS, Other supplies: Seam binding, lace, tag)

Hi Friend! by Jamie Cripps

Hi everyone!  Jamie here with my first ever WOW DT blog post!  Today I am sharing with you a card that I created mostly using the Flowers background stamp!  I inked my Flowers background stamp with my VersaMark stamp pad and stamped a large area on a light blue cardstock.  I covered the area in the Suzy West Berrylicious WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it.  Once it was dry, I punched three scalloped circles and trimmed out the mat shown on the card below!  With the mat, I reinked my stamp and stamped over the image again, offsetting the stamp a little to have a shadow effect, and then I covered the ink with the Clear Gloss Ultra High WOW Embossing Powder.  This powder gives it a wet, shiny look and really brings out the texture of my cardstock!  I then spiral cut the scalloped circles and rolled them to form flowers.  I just adore the way the flowers look with the flower pattern on them!

The Debut of 6 Girls & a Smoking Gun

We have so many talented and worldly designers on WOW! Today, I am introducing you to my amazing design team, 6 Girls and a Smoking Gun. We’ve been playing (who can call it work when it’s so much fun!) with the new Suzy West embossing powder collections and several other fantastic colors.

I’ll kick it off in the Golden State and share a layout of the day I spent hanging out with my cousins being “tourists” in San Francisco. I created my own patterned paper on cardstock using 2 colors of ink and stamping various images of the WOW! Call Me stamp set all over the page. I love this set!

You can use any color combinations you like and any of the WOW! Stamps to create papers of your own!
