Simply Amazing Layout

Welcome Wow fans this is Jenifer here with you today to share my layout that I made the fantastic sketches.  I decided to do a monochromatic layout using white and yellow and I just LOVE how it turned out.
I centered my layout around this pretty picture of a flower that I had taken years ago and it was just itching to be scraped.
I embossed opposite corners with the Sexi Hexi Stamp and the Sunny Yellow embossing powder.  I used a little bit of texture paste to give my layout a little more dimension.
I used the Lace Stamp with Bright White Embossing Powder then using a yellow water color I colored over the top and then cut around the image.

Rainbow and lace card

This month's theme in the blog is rainbows and I got a million ideas just thinking about it. Most of them was very bold and colorful but I still ended up with this kind of clean and simple card. I don't know what happened but I saw the lace stamp and I hadn't had a chance to use it and then I thought it would look great with the Fools Gold embossing powder and in the end there was just a small strip of rainbow left. I am very happy with the result, the strip pulls the eye to the sentiment and still the lace can take up a lot of space. I hope you like it too!

Watercolor inspiration

Hi there Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my project.  I drew my inspiration from this oh so talented team, from Nicole, did you happen to see her beautiful butterfly card?  I was drawn to it and just knew I had to give this technique a try.  She has a wonderful video of her process as well, you can check it out here :)
I chose the Lace stamp from WOW and just colored in some of the flowers with different colors of watercolor.  The image was a little hard to see on the white cardstock so I went around it with a smokey grey watercolor to make it pop just a little bit.
As you can see I need a little bit more practice but I am happy with the result.  This is a pretty easy technique and I will definitely be trying it again soon.  Thank you so much Nicole for the inspiration.
