Fab Foils Over Ink Blending with Jenny Colacicco

Hi Everyone!

It's Jenny here, and today I'm joining you with a simple but pretty card that uses WOW!'s Fab Foils.  You can get a gorgeous effect by overlaying foils on ink blended backgrounds. I've been having so much fun recently (and chilling out) by making new ink blended combo backgrounds - just doing lots of blending.  I used one of those backgrounds for my card today.  I do apologise but I don't have a video this time, but watch this space for some more Fab Foil action in a forthcoming vid!

To create my ink-blended background I used Altenew inks and the following combo: Baby Pink, Butternut, Dew Drops and Eastern Sky.  The way they overlap and create new colors is gorgeous, and it creates a beautiful rainbow.   I used thicker cardstock, and when finished I spritzed the background with shimmer spray to give a shimmery look.

For my foiling medium, I like to have dimension, so I used Decofoil thermel gel which you can apply with a palette knife and then once it …

VIDEO: Nature Neutrals Embossed Backgrounds

Hi, friends, Amber here! Vibrant colors are my jam, but nature provides some great neutrals too! Join me to create fabulous nature-inspired backgrounds.

Green is one of my favorite colors. So, I keep a few different shades of green WOW! Embossing Powders on hand. And you guessed it, they're perfect for our nature-themed Monthly Challenge on Facebook this month.
Details to create these nature neutral embossed backgrounds are in this short card making video. Watch here or in HD on YouTube. Be sure to subscribe while you're there!
Hello Tropics First up, is a tropical-vibe card suitable to send to friends and family to say "Hello, wish you were here."
As you can see, Altenew Wild Ferns Stamp Set goes perfectly with WOW! Metalline Kiwi Krush, Lime Rickey, and Gold Pearl embossing powders. The result is a fresh neutral palette.
WOW! Gold Pearl is a new favorite of mine. Due to its creamy subtle tone, it coordinates with just about any project.

Underwater 5 Card Set with Jeannie

Hi crafty friends! My name is Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) and I’m back for my last post as a guest designer for Wow! Embossing Powder. It's been so much fun and exploring these incredible embossing powder colors. I wanted to create a card set for my last post to showcase a bunch of different colors.

I'm using Trinity Stamps' 4 Bar Card Die Set to help me create this card set. I chose between the two largest dies in this set using a variety of shades of blue. Along with the die set, I used a couple of Trinity Stamps' stamp sets: Ocean Reef BuilderMermaid Wishes and Turtlely Awesome along with the stencils, Summer School. The stencil set comes with three different stencils and works so great for different backgrounds for all these different cards. For all the cards, I'm using WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad to stencil in the backgrounds. Let's go through each card:
CARD 1:  I used the circular  Summer School Stencil along with Oasis embossing powder. I us…
