Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a card that I made using the fabulous new colors of WOW Embossing Powder. These are totally gorgeous and combined with the new stamp set Hearts and Twine they look amazing. Take a look at my card:


The base and the layers of my card are whisper white card stock. I stamped the two images that came on the Hearts and Twine WOW Stamp set using the WOW Embossing Pad and the most brilliant colors of this collection.

All the images were stamped with WOW embossing Pad and covered with different colors of embossing powder. For the twine swirls I used the WOW Yum Yum Bubble Gum Embossing Powder, for the circles inside of these WOW Misty Sky and WOW Avocado Embossing Powder. And for the little sprinkles, WOW Golden Flame Embossing Powder. 

Then, with the WOW Embossing Pad I stamped the mini dots and created the right side border with my new favorite color of Embossing Powder, the WOW Rose Gold. I used the same to emboss the sentiment that …

Winter Style with WOW Embossing Powders and their amazing colors and textures. Today I have a card to share with you that I created using three different tones of blue available in WOW Embossing Powder. Take a look at my card:


This month the theme is winter and I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the base and layers. Let me share how I made this:
Cut the base of card. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2".Cut a second layer using the same card stock.Make a dry embossing using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.After dry embossing, pass the WOW Embossing Pad easily over the raised up side to apply the ink and cover the card stock with  Coastal WOW Embossing Glitter.   Melt the glitter with the WOW Heat Tool.Using snow flake die cuts, cut a medium snow flake and cover it the WOW Embossing Pad.Apply Blueberry Cheesecake WOW Embossing Powder over the inked side and melt the powder with the heat tool. Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a sweet bakers box that I made and decorated using the WOW Embossing Powders. Take a look at my box:

To create this box I used Crumb Cake card stock and Baker's Box Thinlits by Stampin Up. This box has a perfect size for treat like cupcakes or small presents. So I decided to create my own pattern on it. For this purpose, I used a dot stencil over the pieces of the box, I covered the free areas with the WOW Embossing Pad and then I embossed it with WOW Earthtone Olive Embossing Powder. I assemble the box and sponged the borders PowderPuff Chalk Ink Sand.
To personalize the box, I took a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and inked it with Satin Red VersaFine Ink. I embossed all the pieces with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and cut the starbrush circle using a die cut included on the Thinlits Baker's Box Collection. Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a fantastic Christmas project that I created using one stamp set in three different ways. At first you may think this process is difficult but it's not, it was fun! Take a look at my card: 

On this card I used the stamp Secret Garden from WOW. This is a beautiful background that I love because their flowers are bold and very detailed. I used it to:
Stamp tone to tone - over the card baseStamp with heat embossing over the second layerStamp with emboss resist on the pine.

For the first step, stamping tone to tone, I simply inked the stamp with the WOW Embossing pad and stamped over the card base. The color of this is crumb cake and the stamped image obtained  is the same tone, only a little  darker. 
The second way was stamping the Secret Garden image over a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using WOW Embossing Pad and WOW White Pearl Regular Embossing Powder. I just melted the powder with the WOW heat tool and cut the entire …

Creating this card was a fun time: 1. Cut the base of the card using Very Vanilla card stock. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2" 2. Cut a second layer of Very Vanilla. The size is 4-1/8"x5-3/8". 3. Cut the die cut Leafy Border using Old Olive card stock. 4. Stamp the butterfly images from the stamp set Mariposa over the second layer using Splendor #10 Ink. This is a craft ink in Circus colors. 5. Cover your images with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and melt it with the WOW Heat Tool. 6. Stamp the words from the stamp set Just Saying by Marion Emberson using the same ink and covered with the same embossing powder. Melt with the WOW Heat Tool. 7. Hello crafty friends, It's Martha Lucia and it's my turn to share with you! I hope you are enjoying our projects this month using flowers because this is my favorite theme - I love flowers and the Hey Little Flowers stamp set is one of my favorites right now. Take a look at my card:


I started by stamping the background with lineal flowers included on the stamp set Hey Little Flower using WOW Embossing Pad and then heat embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Regular Embossing Powder. Next, I tied on some natural thread cord and then built the rest of the card from there. I wanted to use the new colors of WOW Embossing Powders and I decided to use Strawberry Sundae, Mind Macaroon and Banana Split to stamp each flower ... delicious, right???

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you my favorite technique using embossing powders. It is double embossing and you can make this using regular card stock or glossy card stock but I prefer the glossy card stock because it enhances the shininess of the powder. Take a look at my card.


I created this using the stamp set Mariposas created by Maya Isaksson and the stamp set Just Saying created by Marion Emberson. But let me tell you how you can make this fun technique.
1. Cut a piece of glossy card stock and ink it very well with WOW Embossing Pad. 2. Cover the entire piece with your favorite color of WOW Embossing Powder. I used the new color Banana Split WOW Embossing Powder for my sample. 3. Melt the powder with your WOW Heat Tool. 4. If you consider it necessary, repeat the process to enhance the color.
5. Ink your stamp with WOW Embossing Pad and stamp it over the embossed piece of card stock. 6. Cover the stamped image with a second color of WOW Embossing Powder. …

Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to share with you an inspirational card that I made using a foiling technique for the main images and some embossing details to complement my design. Take a look at my card:


Creating this card was a simple process: 1. Cut the card base using Melon Mambo card stock. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2". 2. Cut a second layer using a piece of designer paper in a clear tone. I used one in beige color. The size is 4"x5-1/4".  3. Take some colors of PowderPuff Chalk Ink or any other ink and create some distress over the designer paper.

4. Take a Secret Garden Stamp and ink this with WOW Embossing Pad. Stamp this over the decorated paper created in step before and cover it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine Embossing Powder. 

5. Melt the powder with the WOW Heat Tool and leave this piece aside for now.

Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a quick  trending technique that I decided to experiment with this month that I want to create anything but a card. The technique is called Black Embossed Resist and I used a pre-fabric pillow box that is originally craft. Take a look of my project:


I love to use this kind of packages to put inside the gift cards or any small presents and since Graduation Season is coming up, I am almost ready for this, I just bought some of plain pillow boxes in a craft store and I started the decoration process to make these more special.


Creating this package was very easy !! I stamped several times one image of the stamp set Sparkle & Shine using the pigment ink Splendor Circus Collection over one side of the pillow box.I covered all the images with WOW Clear Gloss Regular Embossing Powderand I melted the powder with the Heat Tool.Then I repeated all the same processes on the other side of the pillow box.I started to apply the black in tak…

Hi everyone! Martha Lucia here hosting with you new inspiration. Today I want to share a card using the Double Embossing Technique and I have step by step of this card to share with you.


Here is how I created this card:
1. Cut your Very Vanilla card base using a piece of card stock of 4-1/4"x 11" and make score in 5-1/2". 2. Cut a piece of Glossy paper of 3-3/4" x 5". 3. Ink the Glossy paper piece using the WOW Embossing Pad. Press the ink pad directly over the card stock to cover the whole surface. 4. Cover all the inked surface with WOW Gold Pearl Embossing Powder. 5. Melt the powder using the WOW Heat Tool.  6. Since this is translucent powder, you may need a second layer to have a uniform and complete covering. If this is necessary, just repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. 7. Take the WOW Secret Garden Stamp and ink it well with WOW Embossing Pad. 8. Stamp the inked WOW Secret Garden over the embossed piece with Gold Pearl. 9. Cover the stamped image with WOW Metalli…

Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to share with you a technique that I love to use to create a glamorous and unique piece of art. Usually I use this technique to create cards but you can make whatever you want.


To make this technique you only need a stencil, texture paste and any color of Embossing Glitter. In my sample I used WOW Midnight Dream Embossing Glitter. Let me show you how easy it is to make this.
First you have to secure your card stock under the stencil. I used the Bold Floral Stencil from Hero Arts. Then apply the texture paste using a pallet or knife until have an uniform layer. 
As soon you finish, remove your stencil and cover the entire surface with the Wow Midnight Dream Embossing Glitter. Let it dry totally before melting the embossing with the heat tool. It can take a few hours, but if you wait enough time you avoid big globes on the texture produced by the heat.
Resize your embossed piece and paste this over the card base.  In my sample I decorate the upper b…

Hi everyone, this is Martha Lucia here and I am excited to share with you my first official post in WOW blog! The embossing powders have always been one of the my best friends in my creations and techniques. Today I want to share a card that I made using watercolor and WOW Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder and two of the new WOW Embossing Stamps.


To make this card I used watercolor paper and I stamped over it the new Secret Garden WOW Stamp for Embossing using WOW Embossing Pad covered with WOW Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder. Then I melted the powder with the Heat Tool. I colored each flower using a combination of distress ink applied with an aqua painter. 

For the general background I applied the distress ink directly with a blending tool and then I sprayed it with water, before pasting this layer to the card base and adding the sentiment that I stamped using the same WOW Opaque Bright White Regular Embossing Powder.This time, I stamped a sentiment from the n…
