Pink & Silver Card with Dana

Hello, everyone!

It's Dana here and I'd like to share another Pinks/Reds/Hearts inspiration of this month.

I started by ink blending a piece of white card stock with distress oxide inks and mini blending tool. I used Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Pink Raspberry colors. I then die cut heart from that card stock using Altenew Halftone Hearts Nesting Die.

Next, I heat embossed the image from Crafty individuals CI-471 Make A Wish Art Rubber Stamp in silver using WOW! Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter. After heat embossing, I punched a hole for red twine as shown in the picture.

I also stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant I Like You Stamp Set in black where I wanted them.

To finish, I mounted two patterned papers onto an A2 sized white card base and popped up heart panel using foam adhesive.

Hope you enjoyed today's card. Happy crafting!

Tone-on-Tone-on-Tone!

Hi there! Emily Midgett back with you today for my second guest post for WOW! Embossing! Today, I have a pretty, feminine card for you using lots of pretty peachy-pink and even some sparkles, so let's get started with the details!

I began by heat embossing that absolutely gorgeous Rebecca Lace background from Simon Says Stamp using WOW's Soft Mango embossing powder on some beautiful Peony (SSS|EH) card stock. The Peony card stock is a lovely shade of soft pink, and the Soft Mango is just a tad darker shade of coral, which makes for a very pretty tone-on-tone combination! This stamp is also super detailed, and the WOW embossing powder picked up every single detail just beautifully.

I wanted a sparkly greeting, so I created some custom glitter card stock using the WOW Bridal Sparkles. I began by adding some 1" Scor Tape (a heavy duty tape adhesive) to some card stock, then die cut the lovely "smile" (SSS|EH) from The Stamp Market from this adhesive card stock…

Stencil + Embossing Paste + Embossing Glitters Technique with Karen Reategui

Hello shiny friends! Today I'm up at the WOW! Embossing Powder blog sharing two cards with this awesome technique using stencils, embossing paste and embossing glitters. The embossing paste I used is Ranger Texture Paste Transparent Gloss.

For my first card, I applied Altenew watercolors on a piece of Strathmore panel.

Once it was dried, I placed and secured an stencil on top and applied WOW! Embossing Ink Pad.

Then, I removed the stencil and added WOW! Vintage Romance embossing glitter. I placed this panel on top of a fuchsia card base.

Next, I die cut the Simply Friend Die and heat embossed it using WOW! Hot Gossip embossing glitter. Additionally, I die cut a shadow for the friend word, using foil paper.

I placed the friend die cut on top of the background panel using glue dots. Finally, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Wonderland stamp set from Altenew using WOW! Metallic Gold embossing powder and added a few gold sequins.

For my second card, I die cut a piece of white car…

WOW! Sparkles embellishment mousse backgrounds

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! I hope you've all been finding some amazing inspiration here on the blog, can you tell we love to emboss?! For today's video on the WOW! YouTube channel I am showing you how to add some 'Sparkle' :) to your embellishment mousse backgrounds. This can step up your backgrounds adding a little sparkle and shine. I don't think I have any more ways to add 'sparkle' in, except that Sparkles glitters are fantastic so make sure you pick up a pot or two!

Guest Post: Sparkly Sentiment Die Cuts with Emily Midgett!

Hi there! Emily Midgett from Sixth Street Sundries here with you today to share a guest post for WOW! Embossing Powder! I have long loved the huge variety of colors, styles, and textures that the WOW! line carries, and one of my favorite ways to use it is to create molten die cut sentiments, and if they're sparkly... well, that's even better! Today's card features some die cuts that I've dipped in Fairy Dust embossing glitter. Let's get started with the details!

I began by using the WOW Embossing Ink Pad and Fairy Dust embossing powder to create my own glitter paper. I simply put my embossing pad directly to the panel of scrap card stock, covered it with Fairy Dust embossing powder, heated it, then repeated the process to get a really nice thick layer of sparkly powder. I then used the Big Hugs die from My Favorite Things to  die cut a sentiment from this custom glitter paper.

After I'd created my custom glitter die cut sentiment, I used one of my favorite s…
