Today I'm sharing an autumnal card with a non-traditional colour scheme of gold, pink and purple. I find I usually reach for the traditional orange, green and red, so it’s fun to play around with different combinations.
I began by die cutting lots of leaves from white card, using some of the Pretty Pink Posh Small Stitched Foliage die set.
I then inked these with the WOW clear embossing ink, before heat embossing with the following powders: Rose GlintzPerfect PlumGold Pearl
I repeated this process to get a thicker double layer of embossing. The stitched details can get lost a little by doing this, but it does gives a more dimensional look to the leaves.
I arranged these across my card base, adhering with liquid glue, then trimming the edges where they overlapped.
I finished by stamping a sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set.
Have a lovely day, Gemma
