Christmas Card with Dana

Hello, WOW! friends!

It's Dana here and I'm back with another Christmas theme card today.

To start, I die cut card cover from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock using Altenew Striped Leaf Cover Die. I rubbed it with WOW! Embossing Pad and sprinkled WOW! Verdigris Embossing Powder. I heat set it using WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool.

Next, I mounted double-sided tape onto white card stock and die cut it using Altenew Holiday Script Words Die. I peeled it off and sprinkled WOW! Pumpkin Spice Glitter.

I white heat embossed another sentiment on red card stock and trimmed it down as shown.

I mounted cover panel onto white woodgrain cardstock and popped all elements using foam adhesive where I wanted them.

I embellished with Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls and finished off this card.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Hope you stop by HERE and get more inspiration from our Facebook Monthly Challenge!

In The Pink! By Jaine

Forest themes and Scandinavian design has been on trend for a while now and I love both of these themes. A few weeks ago I participated in a blog hop between WOW! and Newtons Nook Designs using this gorgeous Cottage Garden stamp set. I love how easy it is to build up a pattern using the individual elements and think up new designs.

For the blog hop I went totally Scandi and monochromatic for my design and I think it worked well.

However, this time around I thought I'd try something totally different and give it an ombré sort of feel using what other colour than - pink! I wanted to create something bright and bold and had great fun deciding which pinks to go with and after several test pieces I came up with a range I think work best. I absolutely love the way it turned out and how the colours blend into one another.

Using the Super Smooth card, I started at the top with the lightest shade (I stamped all of my images in one go). The trick I think is to let each shade slightly …

Sparkle and Shine by Heather Mitchell

Hello, hello everyone... Heather here again with another Guest DT make for WOW!
Today's card is a real texture feast and the gorgeous WOW! Embossing powder I've used really adds to the whole look.
I began by heat embossing an AALL & Create Border Stamp on watercolour card using the WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and Black Twinkle powder.  I repeated this on another piece of watercolour card and set aside.  After sitting there for a few minutes gazing at the gorgeous sparkly twinkle you get from the powder, I used watercolour to paint the circles.

After painting the background using blue watercolours, I masked off the embossed area and added crackle paint through the AALL & Create 'Broken Circle' stencil.

With everything on the background near completion, I coloured and trimmed the small circles and stars from the additional card I'd already heat embossed and adhered these to the background using foam dots.  For extra texture I added glossy a…
