Make A Wish

I wanted to create a Birthday card, but wanted a little dimension on it. So I pulled out my WOW powders, a stamp set, some blooms, chippies and pop dots! I found some scrap Websters Pages papers that would work and got busy!

Here is the finished card:

I used the Suzy West "Make a Wish" stamp set, along with the Suzy West Sour Lemon regular, Bubble Gum regular, and Opaque Bright White regular embossing powders. I used the Sour Lemon and the "Make A Wish" sentiment  stamp around the edge of the base. I also embossed the chipboard scallop border with it. I used the Opaque Bright white in the center. The flourish is done with the Bubble Gum.

I used a generic leaf stamp and made some tiny leaves to go with the little blooms. The bling accent is from Websters Pages. As well as the little cake.

Here you see the pink flourish behind the blooms. I added liquid pearl accents to the banner and used pop dots for dimension.

Thank you card and a lot of embossing

Hello, my dear crafty friends! Iritis here today and this time I am going to show you my new and very much embossed card.
For a long 4-5 month I was doing scrapbooking pages and altered projects for this  blog and this month was my turn to make a card. So I made one and then I decided to enter it to the web magazine and they  took it for the publication.Good news and bad news. As this card can't be posted here till August and I had to make another card for this post.
So here is the new card-summer colors, but in a kind of a muter way.
I very simple card made for WOW Embossing Powders blog post.

I used this Flowers Wow stamp and then heat embossed it with 4 summery embossing powders: Sour Lemon, Whirly Pop, Gummy Bear Green, Cotton Candy
My  tip here is to use a white pigment ink and not a Clear embossing one as I really want to see that the whole stamp will be shown. The second tip is  to put your cardstock on the top of your inked stamp and to use some roller  to get better impression…

Some summer cards with WOW!

Hello!  Jen Roach here and today I have a few summer themed cards to share with you.

I created some embossed cloud circles using an embossing folder (from Darice) and Suzy West Candy Counter collection Cotton Candy WOW! Embossing Powder.  On the card with the pin wheel accent I also added some Suzy West Candy Counter collection Sour Lemon powder around the outside of the die cut.

Here's a closer look at the Happy Days card  I added a few felt die cut clouds to add some more texture.

Here's a close up of the double embossed cloud panel.  As you can see I have a bit of a stippled effect with the blue embossing powder which adds more texture to the card.

For card two, I embossed my background paper with an embossing folder before attaching the double embossed cloud circle.

And here's another close up look at the heat embossed panel.

Hope you enjoyed my set of summer cards.

A Rainbow of color...

Hey everyone! Tina here with my final post on the WOW blog! The time has come for me to explore some other fun opportunities that have ome my way!
Today I have a fun and colorful card to share with you.
In creating this card, I used the following WOW colors...
WOW Bright White
WOW Suzy West Cotton Candy
WOW Suzy West Sour Lemon

I just love that these colors show up so bright and clear on black cardstock! I used a Spellbinders® Impressabilities® template on the black paper. I embossed it in my Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine first. Then, leaving the template in place, I applied my Versamark ink. After removing the template, I sprinkled one color at a time until all 3 colors were on before heating. I just love how bright and cheery it came out! I also diecut the butterfly using a Spellbinders template, and added the powder in 3 colors here as well.
I hope that you will try combining your embossing powders to create a beautiful rainbow effect on your next project! It is SO much fun! Wow!! :…

Be You

Jenifer here with you today to do my first WoW post, I am so honored to be here, have you seen the crazy talent of all these incredible designers?  Well sit back check your email updates and be prepared to be inspired.  For my project I went old school.  I went all the way back to vellum, remember vellum the wonderful see thru thin paper.  I love vellum and as soon as I saw the  "Build A Butterfly" stamp set I knew what I wanted to do.

With a pencil I did a light line of where I wanted my butterflys and then one by one I stamped and embossed and stamped and embossed.  After I had all of them done I very carefully cut around the wings with a craft knife and folded the wings up so it looked like they were flying off the page.  I added my picture and quote and I was good to go.  I didn't want to do to much because I wanted the butterflys to POP.

I used all of the Candy Counter embossing powers, Whirly Pop, Gummy Bear Green, Cotton Candy, Berrylicious, Sour Lemon, Bubble Gum. W…

Mini Album Love in Wow Embossing Powder

Hi everyone!
I’m very happy to show you a mini album I made thanks to the amazing Wow embossing powders. I used a lot of different colors to create my own backgrounds. I also used the powders to create the embellishments and to give some motion to the mini album.
To do so, I simply stamped my patterns on a Bristol board and I embossed and cut them off. To create the cover, I embossed a tag with the Earthtone Honey Regular powder and I embossed the leaves and the heart with some Earthtone Pepper Regular and some Earthtone Paprika Regular colors.

On the first page of the album, I created this yellow background thanks to the Sour Lemon Regular powder. The ticket and the heart are embossed with some Earthtone Paprika Regular and Earthtone Pepper Regular colors.
I also embossed the Wow stamps board with the Bubble Gum Regular powder to create this pink background.
On the next page, I embossed the Wow flower stamps board with the Earthtone Nutmeg Regular powder and the leave with the Gummy Bear…

Colors of Our Lives

Hi everyone! Diana here checking in from Southern California. I am so excited to be sharing my first blog post with you. I wanted to share a fun home decor project that I made for CHA that reminds me that Spring is just around the corner.

I love the bright colors of the Candy Counter Suzy West Collection! For this project I used Metallic Silver, Whirly Pop, Gummy Bear Green, Cotton Candy, Berrylicious, Sour Lemon, Bubble Gum, and Earthtone Blueberry. I used Martha Stewart's All Over the Page Classic Butterfly Punch to cut out 9 butterflies. I then used all 9 colors and embossed each butterfly completely. To add a little bit of texture, I stamped on several of them a text and embossed with a coordinating color. The stamp I used was from the "Call Me" WOW stamp collection.
I then stitched each butterfly on to a piece of 9" by 9" Fancy Feathers Bazzill White Cardstock. I love how this cardstock is glazed with a fun pattern. It gives the project added depth and textu…

It's all about COLOR with Wow Embossing Powders

Hello blogging world, it is me Jeannie from The Polka Cabana sharing my first project here for the fantastically yummy embossing powders by WOW. I created a fairly simple layout so that the colors of the powders would really stand out. I started with a picture that I manipulated in PSE.  I wanted the picture and my title to be the background paper.  Here is what I started with.
Yep, that's me..goofy I know but it is what I wanted!! I had the image of what I wanted to do in my head, and here is what I dreamed up!

When I look at this layout, I am just giddy.

I used the Wow Beautiful Clear Stamp set called GRATITUDE.

All the embossing powders I used are from the CANDY COUNTER COLLECTION--Berrylicious, Whirly Pop, Sour Lemon, Gummy Bear Green, Bubble Gum & Cotton Candy.

This is for a book I have decided to do about me.   We all have things that are unique, things that make us who we are.

I am a Sunday School teacher for teenagers and this past Sunday I was talking about the importance of jo…
