JOY WINTER FOREVER AND EVER

Winter Style with WOW Embossing Powders and their amazing colors and textures. Today I have a card to share with you that I created using three different tones of blue available in WOW Embossing Powder. Take a look at my card:

This month the theme is winter and I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the base and layers. Let me share how I made this:
Cut the base of card. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2".Cut a second layer using the same card stock.Make a dry embossing using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. After dry embossing, pass the WOW Embossing Pad easily over the raised up side to apply the ink and cover the card stock with  Coastal WOW Embossing Glitter.   Melt the glitter with the WOW Heat Tool.Using snow flake die cuts, cut a medium snow flake and cover it the WOW Embossing Pad.Apply Blueberry Cheesecake WOW Embossing Powder over the inked side and melt the powder with the heat tool. I left my heart in San Francisco

Hey there!
Just jumping on the blog today to share a summer vacation layout with ya! I don't know about you, but I love to scrap with the seasons. I know it sounds crazy, but it is true. :) Last summer we went on a mini vacation to the city by the the bay.  I fell in love with it, and just like Tony Bennett sings, I left my heart in San Francisco.
I love our WOW powders, since our colors are so vibrant,  they go with just about anything you have, from any paper manufacturer.  For this layout, I used three colors:  California sunshine, bay area blue, and cable car red - all  in the Suzy West "By the Bay" collection.
I had some plain chipboard thickers from American Crafts, so I just rubbed them in my embossing ink, and then dumped on the powders, and Voila, custom made title that matches my layout perfectly!
Super duper easy! I started doing it on every layout, and became addicted.  ;)

See, this is evidence of my addiction...another layout, another perfect match.  For this "hello…

A Card and a Canvas- Erika Taylor

I love taking color and making it sing. Rainbows, butterfly wings and flowers are all full of inspiration for me and today I've got 2 projects to share with you that are BURSTING with color.

Hello everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you an easy to create card and a whimsical canvas. First lets start with the card. For this piece, I used a combination of Bubble Bum, Cotton Candy and Rich Gold embossing powder. I took the cotton candy and Bubble Gum embossing powders and covered a piece of White card stock with them. I heat embossed and let completely cool.

Once the card stock was cool, I put a flower stencil on top and with emboss ink, covered the piece with ink. Then poured gold embossing powder on top, removed the stencil, heat set and VOILA!!!

Love the look of double embossing. You can create your own custom backgrounds using any colours and stencils. I also added a little Embossing Powder to the handmade flower to tie it all together.

Here is the finish project tied up …
