It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

Happy Saturday all of you crafty peeps!   It is that time of year again when our crafty goodness can be turned into gifts, and cards, so lets take a peek at what the gals from Team Glitter Girls are up to! First up we have Jen Matott.  She made a beautiful Altered Gift Tin and Necklace.  This is what Jen had to say about her project! "In the spirit of Christmas, I wanted to create a gift for a girl friend of mine. I used an empty cigar tin that I had found, and covered it with patterned papers. I wanted to pretty up the edges so that the original paint did not show.I dabbed on VersaMark with a dauber and added Regular Metallic Silver powders. They melt so smooth an coat the metal perfectly! To create the necklace, I used an Ideology Facet and cut out a piece of patterned paper for the back. Once it was adhered, I used the dauber again and coated the back and sides with VersaMark. The silver WOW powder created a metal look and finished this piece! It's ready to give!"

Something about me and a lot about WOW powders

Hello, my dear crafting friends! I am Irit and this is my very first post here.
Today is a second day of our Love and Valentine blog hop.
For this day I was asked to make a lo about things I love about myself.  Hard one. I don't scrap a lot about myself and less talk about things I love in me, if any.
So I decided to show the way I live: in Black and White ( and those are not only my outfits, but the  whole way of thinking), but after all I craft and dream in color.
So here is this sneak peek of my page- lots of WOW Embossing powders and some  WOW stamps used.
You can read the full story and to see the full lo in my blog.
We also have a group post in just a few days and a big giveaway here , on WOW blog, too. So stay tuned and I hope we give you some crafting inspiration.
See you tomorrow in WOW blog for more Love and Valentine inspiration from other team members.

Candy Counter Collection makes me SMILE!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend awaiting the fabulous CHA releases! I know I am on the edge of my seat here in Sunny Australia waiting and wishing I was there in person to see all the yummy goodies.
Today I wanted to share with you all a quick and easy quilting technique I have used on a layout using WOW Stamps and WOW Emboss Powders.

This was really was quite easy to create and with a square punch would be even easier (I realised I should have used my square punch AFTER cutting all the squares out LOL). Firstly you will need to grab some spare white cardstock and pick the colours you would like to use for your bakground. I have used colours from the Suzy West Candy Counter Collection including Cotton Candy, Gummi Bear Green & Bubblegum. Next up you need to grab your background stamp (I have used WOW Brocade Background stamp) and stamp your versamark or embossing adhesive onto your white cardstock doing one at a time. Sprinkle your powder generously over th…

Enjoy The Everyday

Hi there everyone! Suzy West here...actually checking in from Sacramento, Ca.I've been creating with one of my lead girls, Gina Lideros for the last two days. We are on a mission to finish and get everything sent out to the show!I'm really excited about this project that I'm posting today!! It's something I started about a month ago when I found this book in a thrift store, and have been working feverishly hard on it. It's nice to see it completed!! I used a lot of colors from my different collections to create the inside. On the outside I used Copper Ultra High, Sierra Sunrise (one of my embossing glitters), and Glamour Green (WOW Embossing Glitter) I also played with our new butterfly stamp, modpodge, Gesso, Shimmerz spritz, and lots of pretty bling, knobs, and more.I hope you like it! Thanks for looking and for all the sweet comments you've been posting.
Close Up Have a great day!
