Happy Holidays with Frau Pony

My name is Martina. I am living in Switzerland and am really passionate about Papers, Colours and Coffee, of course!  I love to get up early in the mornings (and on rainy Sundays…) to dig into craftiness before going to work. Creativity in all its facets has always played an important role in my family and life: it is my passion and feels like a part of my DNA  I love exploring and pushing boundaries in my crafting - wether it is cardmaking, mixed media or papercrafts general.  Usually I don’t stick to a specific style or technique for very long – I enjoy the flow of the creative process and filling my treasure trove with new experiences
I’m beyond excited to be a guest designer for WOW! this month! ****************** Today, I have two cards for you which combine two of my favourite techniques when it comes to papercrafting.
Heat embossing and getting a bit messy :)

I started with getting some color onto water color paper and move it around by adding some water with a brush. I have …

Vintage Sparkle by Heather

Hello again everyone...
Heather back with a make completely out of my colour comfort zone as I don't usually do delicate and pale... I'm more of a 'in your face' kinda maker!
It's good to challenge yourself sometimes though and so I picked three acrylic paints for the background and just gently swiped the colours around using a palette knife and added some hints of gold using my finger.
Over the background, I used Wow's Sexi-Hexi stamp (and huge apologies as I think it is now discontinued - arghhh!) with their Vintage Romance powder just for some delicate texture.  You could of course use any Wow stamp... French Music or Go Figure would work equally as well.
I then chose a gorgeous Aall & Create A4 stamp, Blossomed Numbers by Tracy Evans,  to cover the background as I wanted a textural look but not obviously textural (you have to look a bit deeper!)  I chose another of the vintage powder, Vintage Champagne, as it has a beautiful subtle twinkle to it and  just l…

My favourite things

Hello all, Nataliya is here!
I have long wondered what I love the most. But have not decided :)
So I'll tell you about a few of my favourite things:
- embossing glitter
- metallic powder
- making background
And, of course, I love butterflies :)

In this card I used a lot of WOW! EP :)
First of all, Red Metalline for the base and chipboard frame;
Vanilla White for an inscription;
Vintage Romance & Melt-It! Powder for dots;
Vintage Candy Cane to create a background;and Collage stamp for the tag.

And some tips for you, about how I made this background :)
Step1 - blots

Step2 - masking

Step3 - sprinkle the powder

Step4 - stamping

Step5 - more blots with another color

Have a good day with your favorite things :)
