Christmas Card with Dana

Hello, WOW! friends!

It's Dana here and I'm back with another Christmas theme card today.

To start, I die cut card cover from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock using Altenew Striped Leaf Cover Die. I rubbed it with WOW! Embossing Pad and sprinkled WOW! Verdigris Embossing Powder. I heat set it using WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool.

Next, I mounted double-sided tape onto white card stock and die cut it using Altenew Holiday Script Words Die. I peeled it off and sprinkled WOW! Pumpkin Spice Glitter.

I white heat embossed another sentiment on red card stock and trimmed it down as shown.

I mounted cover panel onto white woodgrain cardstock and popped all elements using foam adhesive where I wanted them.

I embellished with Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls and finished off this card.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Hope you stop by HERE and get more inspiration from our Facebook Monthly Challenge!

Leaf Stencil Embossing with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a card using this month’s theme of Favourite WOW! Technique. I used stencil embossing to create a fun textured background.

On a piece of white card, I first die cut a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Diamond in the centre to create a window.
Next, I used the WOW Clear Embossing ink over a Pretty Pink Posh Leaf Stencil, to add a diagonal of pattern to the pattern. I then heat embossed the pattern with WOW Colour Blend Verdigris embossing powder. This powder gives a lovely variation in colours, with each leaf looking a little different.

On my card base, I layered some Altenew patterned paper, then adhered the panel on over the top.
I stamped and copic coloured a giraffe from the Pretty Pink Posh Animal Signs stamp set, then tucked him in the diamond window opening.

For the sign, I stamped the giraffe again on to the same patterned paper as the background, then heat embossed a greeting from the Animal Signs stamp set with WOW Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder. I f…

Let it snow

I just love the snowy backdrop in the Let it Snow stamp set. I masked off a rectangle and embossed the snow with Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I used an ink blending tool with a soft blue ink pad to make a gradient from the top. to stamp the sentiment I used Archival ink because it would stick to the embossed snowflakes too, if you use dye ink it will just rub off.

I had this leaf shaped diecut in my stash but I transformed it into a christmas tree by adding embossing ink on it and dip the edges in White Puff Sparkle and then cover the rest in Verdigris embossing powder. I attached it on my card and that's it. I hope you like my clean and simple winter card.

I want to take the opportunity to wish you all happy holidays and a really happy new year! I wish you a year filled with crafting and inspiration.

Flower mosaic

Hello there, Maya here with two garden inspired cards. I love gardens full of flowers in all colors. I don't like taking care of my own garden, I've learned the hard way to keep it simple. It's a bit like that with my cards too. I love seeing all these cards full of pretty flowers but I can't make them myself. I had a lot of trouble coming up with some inspiration for the garden themed challenge this month until i remembered to simplify. Well, the technique is a bit time consuming depending on how intricate the design is. One was quicker than the other, but it is so much fun and the effect is great!

Here's how to do it. I used my Cameo to cut out two flower designs out of white cardstock. Save all the pieces, even the tiny ones. For this card (the quicker one) I embossed the outlines with Ebony black embossing powder. I started with attaching the big square piece from around the flowers onto a kraft colored card base. I then glued down the embossed piece like a puz…
