Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space! Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing a beautiful pastel color embossing powder! 

I created this card to play along with the "Pastels" theme for the Wow! Embossing Powder Facebook Fan Group page monthly challenge - ❤ WOW Embossing Powder Fans ❤ https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWEPFans/

For my card I played with the gorgeous  WH19 Bluetiful and the WS175 Zeus embossing powders, along with the awesome WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5, WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A4.

I've also used these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.

I started my card by cutting a panel from WOW! Superior Smooth White Cardstock - A5. I absolutely love this cardstock! It's just a smooth, bright white and it's perfect for heat embossing and for coloring with alcohol markers! Next I die c…

Leaves of Mint Love with Raluca

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space! Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing one of my favorite teal WOW Embossing Powders!


I created this card to play along with the "Aqua/ Teals / Turquoise" theme for the Wow! Embossing Powder Facebook Fan Group page monthly challenge - ❤ WOW Embossing Powder Fans ❤ https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWEPFans/




For my card I played with the gorgeous WH19 Bluetiful and the fabulous WC01 Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powders and these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat. I just love this shade of mint/teal! 

I started my card by preparing a white panel and dry embossed it using a gorgeous new embossing folder from Sizzix. Next I mounted this panel on a pink card base using craft foam. Then I die cut a lovely Sizzix leaf from vellum and two from white cardstock. To add the embossing powder…

Mixed Media Butterfly Tag by Susanne

Hi my dear crafty Friends!

It's Susanne writing today and I'm sharing a mixed media tag. Yes, I love creating tags!!! Why? They have a super size to test new techniques, you can create cards with them, use them simply as a tag on a gift, add them to your art journal or planner or only keep them as a reference for your self.

I used the lovely "Layered Hearts" stamps together with "Blueberry Cheesecake" powder on my background before I added any color. The tag is colored with liquid watercolors. The embossing acts as a resist. I used the group of tiny butterflies from the "Mariposa" stamps set and the words from the "Just Saying" set.


The butterfly is one of the Sizzix Butterfly Duo. I pressed it softly onto the Embossing Pad and added "Iced Silver" Glitter. It's colored with liquid watercolor. The happy is a die from CUTplorations. I used chalk cardstock from DCWV.

WOW! .... We're Half Way There...

Happy day, friends! Can you believe how quickly 2012 has passed? WOW! We're halfway through the year! I can't believe it's Summer in the U.S. I'm kicking off my boots and slipping on the sassier, open-toed heels. That's really where my fashion sense stops. I can wear all one color in fairly basic pieces, but then it's all about the bling. Since I'm this month's showcase designer, I brought that same love of shoes to paper. I used Suzy West's Pantry Collection - Paprika on the heel and I used Angel Wings and Neutral Ultra Shimmer on the insole. The stamp is from Suzy's Love Beyond All Measure set. 






Speaking of accessories, have you seen some of the things built for Steampunk? I happened upon a Steampunk convention once (next to a LEGO convention of all things). It was the most brilliant event! I was so impressed with the twist of Old and New.
