Glittery Flower Card with Dana

Happy Friday, everyone!
It's Dana here and I'm back with another *Embossing Glitters* theme card.

To start, I stamped flower bouquet image from Studio Katia Kind Bouquet with WOW! Clear Embossing Ink. I sprinkled WOW! Under the Sea Embossing Glitter and heat set it using WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool.

I also heat embossed a sentiment from same stamp set in teal using WOW! Totally Teal Embossing Glitter. I then cut out flower and sentiment using coordinating die set.

I colored flowers using alcohol makers and stamped another sentiment in black as well.

For background, I die cut cover panel using Studio Katia Grid Cover and foam mounted it onto kraft panel. To finish, I embellished with teal crystals as shown in the picture.

Hope you enjoyed this card and share your *Embossing Glitters* card in our monthly challenge folder at our Facebook Fan Group. (HERE)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Heat Embossed Impression Stamping with Jenny Colacicco

Hi Everyone, it's Jenny here and I'm so excited to be joining you today with my first official post for WOW! Embossing as a member of the Design Team!

I have a video to share with you today that shows you how to create imprints in all over embossed panels and create some really stunning effects.    You can check out the video here and over on the WOW! Embossing YouTube channel.  I'm using the new WOW! Dual Heat embossing tool in today's video, which some of you may have seen at Creativation - it was featured in a lot of 'top spots at Creativation' and I concur!! Love this tool!!

My first card uses a red rubber background stamp and WOW! Metalline First Frost embossing powder to create an all over impression in the liquid embossing powder.

Once the embossing powder cools, you're left with a beautiful set impression which you can then embellish with stamped images or die cut sentiments - the sky is the limit with this technique, even just using only one embos…

Birthday Balloons

I really liked the sketches for this months theme, I decided to use the second one as soon as I saw it. It reminded me of Sian's card that I was inspired by for my February post. At first I wanted to make something similar because I really loved the design but then I got another idea. Instead of the rectangles I wanted to use the placement of the elements and text as my inspiration. I diecut some balloons and covered them in embossing glitter twice and topped it with a couple of layers of clear embossing powder to make them shiny and thick. I lightly airbrushed some clouds behind the balloons, you can barely see it but up close it shows up a bit better and it made the balloons look as if they belonged there. I finished off with some gold string and gemstones for more bling.  I hope you are inspired to create something from the sketches, I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!
