Stars and Stripe Layout WOW style

Hi, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my Stars and Stripes post.  Stars and Stripes always remind me of the United States, the Flag and the 4th of July but I wanted to create a more subtle layout for my post. This is really a simple layout that packs a big punch.  I did the stars using Melt it California Sunshine, Earthtone Honey and Sierra Sunrise.I then created the stripes using a ruler and a Wow Pen and embossing powders Earthtone blueberry, Earthtone Honey and Skyline Grey.  I love how it all came together, all the colors blend perfectly.

My small altered gift box

Hello, my dear crafting friends! Today I am going to show you my new recycled gift box that can be done in no time with some chipboards and a lot of WOW Embossing powders.

So first is was this clear box I got with some embellishments from my other DT, then I've seen that this box is just perfect to be altered. I wrapped it with 4-5 different washi tapes first. The second  step was to cover this bird cage and birds chipboards from Tando Creative. The coverage was  done with Frosty white Clearsnap ink and then the cage was heat embossed with White Regular Embossing powder and   bit of  Suzy West Earthtone Honey  powder was sprinkled over it for  an older look. The birds were first white inked and then heat embossed with a mix of  Opaque Pastel blue, Glitter Blue and  Bay Area Blue powders.  Prima fabric tape was misted and then I stamped this Just Because sentiment from Wow sentiments set (not much seen due the ribbon and a bad lighting, but believe me it's seen  proper in live)

Fall Mini Album

Have you seen the wonderful Challenge that Erika put up on Tuesday?  Are you going to participate?  I know I am what an inspiration.
Did you see Birgit Koopsens wonderful canvas?  Her Canvases are amazing.
Hi Jenifer here with you today sharing a quick and easy Mini Album that I made using the Gratitude Stamps and some of the Earth tone embossing powders. I kept the mini small 4x6 that way I could quickly install some of my favorite pictures of this fall season and do some journaling when needed.  I used the leaf from the gratitude stamp and just cut close to the edges, I love how they look like they are falling down the page. Here is a peak at the inside and a couple close ups of some of the cute patterned paper.

 Supplies:  Gratitude Stamp

Smile Card

Jen Matott here with a card that brings a little bit of sunshine to the recipient. I used the "Call Me" stamp for this simple card!
First, I stamped on the card front directly and used Earthtone Pepper.  I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Olive Vine.  Once dry, I used a sentiment stamp in the upper left corner.  I stamped a corner of the stamp on the small shipping tag and used Earthtone Honey on it.
I tied a piece of ribbon on the tag and layered it over the corner of the first stamp so that it matched up.  It gives it a little pop of drama... A little sunshine.

Supplies:
WOW Embossing powder in Earthtone Pepper & Earthtone Honey
 "Call Me" stamp set

Ribbon: Hug Snug seam binding

Fall Gift Bag

Hi, it's Gini here to share a fun fall project with you. I recieved this cute burlap bag earlier in the week, and knew that it would be so fun to alter it as the perfect little gift bag. I cut metal leaves using Cheery Lynn Designs Dimensional Large Leaves. I love the deep embossed patterns. I pulled out some of my favorite fall colors from Wow Embossing Powders and inked the leaves with Versamark. When you heat emboss the metal, it heats up fast - so make sure to hold it with tweezers or lay them on a heat resistant mat. The metal tends to shine through the embossing powder and makes a gorgeous charm for your bag. Winds of Change Layout

Hi Jenifer here with you today with a fall layout for you.   I used the Gratitude stamp and punched several of the tree branches with the leaves.  I then cut out each individual leaf and made it look like the leaves in my photo where actually cascading down the page.  I also used the Metallic Gold on the new Momenta Metal stickers to change the color a little and it worked like a charm and matched my brads :)  Love it when that happens.
Here is a close up.

Quality Time

Hey there WOW! fans, Tanisha here with a layout featuring some of my favorite WOW! powders and WOW's Call Me Stamp set.

I used an embossing pen to outline the butterfly seen here and then used Earth tone Paprika to highlight the outline.  I embossed the pre-made chipboard embellishments with Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing to add a little bling.
I used the postage stamp from the set to create my own patterned paper strips using Earth tone Honey and Cotton Candy.
I changed the color of the chipboard alpha by first embossing them with Ebony powder.  Once cooled, I re-inked and then embossed with Black Glint embossing glitter.

You Love the Outdoors Wow Layout

Happy Monday Everyone!
I'm getting off to a late start after fighting off a migraine but it's super sunny and beautiful here in So Cal so I'm going to share my layout and then head out into the sunshine!!

Today I have a layout to share which uses both the Wow! stamps and powder.

This is my sweet nephew who just LOVES being outside in the dirt!
I used the "Is it a bird?" and "Gratitude" stamp sets and the Regular Earthtone Honey powder.
The title is cut on my Silhouette and then I embossed them with the honey embossing powder.
It's an easy way to tint a title and gives it some texture and shine.
If you haven't played with your powders and stamps in a while, break them out and have a fun play day!

I hope you are all having a fantastic summer!!

Run away art journal page by Birgit Koopsen

I created this art journal page using embossing powders and adhesives (repositionable dots from Scrapbook AdhesivesTM by 3L) to create a grungy, textured background. I first added the adhesive to the background going over the same spot a couple of times and then sprinkled it with embossing powder. Cotton Candy and Bay Area Blue at the top and Earthtone Olive at the bottom. After embossing I sprayed the background with Glimmer Mist and added the stamps from the “Is it a bird?” stamp set.

Wishing Well

I am so blessed to have the best sister in the world! I found this picture of us sitting on a Wishing Well, when we were little, and decided it was time to be scrapped! I added the Houndstooth embossing to my doily using a Crafter's Workshop Stencil. I sprinkled Wow Suzy West Earthtone Paprika over most of the circle, and finished up the rest with the Earthtone Honey. Then I added just a little Sierra Sunrise across the whole thing to give it a little glimmer. I made a dimensional Wishing Well to embellish my page. I stamped the bricks and embossed them with Wow Opaque Bright White. I further embellished it with die cut flowers and vines. The bottom of the well is open to accomodate an envelope, that stores my hidden journaling. How About a WOW Guy Page?!?!

Hi! Patti here, and I'm going to share a boy page today!!! I know, I usually do girly pages, but I have two boys as well!! They're just camera shy. Seriously they run from the camera, but they have grown up with it!

I've used the Suzy West Pantry collection powders for this page. I started off by inking some small bubble wrap and embossing the background paper with the Earthtone Blueberry.

I used the Earthtone Honey and Paprika on the title letters. And I added the Earthtone Nutmeg on the gears. I also used more of the Earthtone Blueberry on two of the gears as well.

Here is another close-up of the gears. I used a piece of burlap behind them as a border.

Here is one last close-up, you can see the title letters an the gears. I love how these colors matched the Bo-Bunny paper here. They were absolutely perfect!

I have used a lot of embossing powder, and I really do love how the WOW powders turn out, the colors are  so vibrant, and the coverage is superior. I hope you check them o…

WOW Butterflies

Hi Jenifer here with you today with a simple but beautiful layout.  I have had this wonderful picture of this group of butterflies that I took on a camping trip sitting on my worktable for years now.  It has just been to beautiful for me to really do it justice.  Until now.  As you can see I have kept the page pretty simple but still giving it plenty of pizazz.

Can you see all the sparkle?  I mixed the Sierra Sunrise Embossing Glitter with the Earthtone Honey and got a wonderful effect. For the Butterfly I used the ebony regular embossing powder and then colored it in with some color to make it look like one of the butterflies was flying out of the picture.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my post today.  Make sure you stop by everyday for all of the wonderful talent we have on this team. Jenifer
