Team Glitter girls! Yippee Yiy Yay!

Hello Friends! So happy to be back with another team post for Team Glitter Girls!
We have been having fun designing for CHA, and are super excited to share some new goodies we have made for you! Our team is scatterd across the states and even in France! We are into summer, and vacations, but have still been busy  blowing embossing powder here, there, and everywhere!
Hee hee hee :)
Lets begin with Amy Sotolongo! Here is what she has to say about her layout! "For this layout I knew I wanted a large red butterfly as the focal point,so I cut the butterfly on my Silhouette Cameo and then inked it up with embossing ink.
I used my Wow! Cable Car red embossing powder to emboss the butterfly red. I love the shiny effect of embossing cut out embellishments. If you have never tried embossing a die cut, you must run and try it!"

Now we will head over to France, and see what Benedicte Raphalen has been doing!
She used the stamps to stamp her tag, and her pennant too,  I love the large patterns!  …

Layout - Fabulous Best Friends

I hope everyone is having a great Friday... It is another beautiful sunny California day here and I am looking forward to the weekend. Today I wanted to share a layout that was close to my heart. I truly believe we all have people in our lives that have a specific purpose. They help us live our lives to the full potential and really know that it is ok to be who we are... that we are special and important.

Layout: Fabulous Best Friends
Supplies: WOW Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Powder and WOW Brocade Stamp

Journaling: Valentina, you are my best friend and I don't think I could have gotten through the last few months without you. You have been there for me and the boys... you are part of our family. God brings people into our lives for a reason. You have helped me stay strong and find myself. You have changed me, changed me for the better. I am so thankful that you are my best friend.

Notes: I used the Brocade stamp to emboss my patterned paper and then I also used a Martha Stewa…

Miss You Card

Hi everyone... just thought I would share a fun and easy card for when you are missing that special someone in your life. I will be putting this in my little ones lunch box, so he has an extra little surprise when he eats lunch at school. Just want him to know how special he is...

Supplies: WOW Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Powder (this is my favorite color)

Instructions: For this card, I cut a white piece of Bazzill to 4.5" by 9" and then I folded it in half to make a square. I then cut the chevron patterned paper to 4.25" by 4.25" and adhered it to the front of the card. I then adhered a flower diecut to the center of the card. I embossed a chipboard letter U with Metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder. I also added the word "miss" with Making Memories alphabet stickers and a few flowers in the lower right hand corner.

Have a great week!

Glitter Girls are back with some layouts!

Hi Girls!  Well here we are again! Team Glitter Girls are back for another one of our team posts! So without further ado lets take a looksie at what we have up our sleeves!
Look at this awesome layout from Amy!
Lets see what she said about creating this layout.
"I love adding journaling on my layouts. For my introduction page of my London album I decided to write out all the fun places we visited and emboss them in Cable Car Red Embossing Powder. I wrote all the places out in pencil first and then went back with my Wow Embossing Pen and added the embossing ink over the pencil.
Next, I poured the embossing powder over the writing and then heated it with my heat gun.
One quick tip: Since a pen is not as saturated as an ink pad, heat from undeneath first to ensure the powder adheres well, then heat from above."

Products used: Cable Car Red Embossing Powder, Call Me Stamp Set (phone booths)
Now lets look at this layout from Jen Matott

For her layout, Jen used:
