Glitzy Dry Embossed Background with Jenny Colacicco

Hi Everyone! It's Jenny here, and today I have a super glitzy background focused card to share with you!  I often like to combine geometric and modern backgrounds with soft florals.  I really love the juxtaposition between the two.  Today I focused on a soft blue pallette to set agains the glam background.

I first took an A2 panel of black cardstock and swiped it with the WOW! Embossing ink pad all over.  I then completely heat embossed the panel with gorgeous Silent Night embossing powder.  It's a beautiful mix of blacks and silver powders to give an almost industrial silver look.  Completely gorgeous in real life.

I decided to dry emboss the panel with a geometric embossing folder.  As I only had done one layer of powder, this worked really well, with no cracking.  Those geometric patterns (from a WRMK folder) really catch the light!

I then heat embossed this floral image from My Favorite Things, in Opaque Bright White embossing powder onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I colo…

Sparkly Wreath

Welcome WoW fans :)  This is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun sparkly wreath I made.  It is so cool my daughter stole it from me before the powders were even dry..  LOL I cut a circle ring out of a piece of cardboard and then stamped and embossed an entire sheet of leaves.  I layered them on the cardboard and added a fun ribbon tassel and a fantastic glitter velvet bow.  The glitter reindeer is an old Christmas ornament that went perfect with the beautiful sparkle of the powders.
Here is a close up of some of the sparkle.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Special Gift Box or Ornanment

Hi Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my "anything but a card" project. It's never to early to start planning for Christmas right?  So I came up with this little gift ornament. I made this little box and then embossed around the edges to make it look like it might be frosted glass.  I then created this little Snowflake medallion to take center stage.  Top it all off with a beautiful glitter edged bow and you have yourself a fun ornament that could be hung on the tree.
If you didn't want to hang it you could always use it as a fun little gift box for some special treats.  How would you use it?

Today We Are Happy by Trish Latimer

Hello! This month's theme is 'Anything But A Card'... which suits me right down to the ground! I created a piece of home decor using lots of the new products:

The three flowers were created using the new blossom mould. It never fails to impress me just how a quite frankly strange looking mould can produce such an amazing flower! I used three of the new powders to create the flowers, Fairy Dust, Sugar Plum and Silent Night. I mixed each with a little Clear Ultra High powder to make each go just that little bit further!

The wonderful Pick 'n' Mix stamps that Maya has designed are so useful, and I've combined a few of them to create my phrase. I stamped in black ink, then embossed with clear extra fine powder to give the shine...

I really like the elegant monochromatic look... hope you do too!! Trish xxx
