Small Edition [of Summer] using new WOW! Trio's + REEL

Hey everyone, it's Dunja here today. Are you also in summer fun mode? Seahorses are so wonderful and I used these Rubber Dance stamps today.

Ok, this isn't a typical summer colour, with the bright colours, is it? Maybe it just puts you in a good mood :)) What do you think?

I used the stencil with these many little circles and sprinkled and embossed them with texture paste and two different embossing powders from the latest WOW! release (isn't it stunning?!).

I stamped the seahorses both on a Gelli print - my tip: nothing smudges with the StazOn! - and once gold embossed on vellum. I then cut them out and glued them on or sewed them on with the sewing machine, which gives such a special effect, doesn't it?

Thank you so much for stopping. If you use the WOW! Products make sure to tag #wowembossingpowder so we can check out your creations!

VIDEO | Painting with Earth Sparkles

Hej and Welcome! It's Martina here today with probably the easiest technique ever.

You'll find it also on the WOW YT channel, if you'd like to watch the process!

"Painting" your die cuts requires really little thigs and is totally fun! So why not giving it a try?

I am working with the WOW Embossing Earth Sparkles today. These are plant based BioDegradable Glitters that come in 25 beautiful colours!

The Steps to follow are really simple:

- Choose a Die Cut that has a solid base layer and a detailled top layer with lots of openings.
For my card, I have been using the "Floral Border Die" by A Pocket Full of Happiness.

(If you have a beautiful and usable die that doesen't have a base layer, I think you could totally hand cut a base layer for this project!)

- Stick a sheet of double sided adhesive tape to a piece of cardstock before cutting the base layer (I have been using the Elizabeth Crafts one). Cut the base layer from the cardstock with Adhesive tape glued to it and cut the top layer from plain cardstock.

- Peel the protective sheet off of the base layer and place the top layer carefully into place. Make sure eyerything is aligned properly.

- Place a piece of paper or a coffeefilter under your Die Cut, take a small brush and your Earth Sparkles and fill the small sticky openings with Earth Sparkles by using the brush.

-Before changing to the next colour, make sure, that you tapped off all excess powder and put it back into the jar.

When all sticky parts are filled, you are ready to finish your card by glueing the now sparkly Die Cut onto it!

I really hope you liked this easy and sparkly project as much as I do!

Have an amazing day!

Gel Press Birthday Tag with Embossing

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I'm making a birthday tag using a gel press background with the Pinkfresh Floral Focus stamp and the WOW! Seth Apter Sea of Tranquility Embossing Powder. I started by using my gel press with PaperArtsy Paints and pulling up this pretty print.

I then placed my tag in my MISTI and inked up the Pinkfresh Floral Focus Stamp with embossing ink. I thought the turquoise of the Seth Apter Sea of Tranquility would go perfectly with the peach color of the tag.

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment die in yellow to pull out the yellow in the gel print.

I completed my tag with some twine and wrote a fun birthday message on the back for my friend.

Here are the WOW! Embossing products I used for my project:

WOW! Fab Foil with Layering Stencil

Hi, it's Colleen here and today I'm sharing how gorgeous WOW! Fab Foils are with the layering stencils that are all the latest rage!

I started with Pinkfresh Studio's Floral Vase Layering Stencil and their inks in Rocky Slope and Metropolis. I was going for a vintage look, so these colors were perfect! The first two layers were done with the inks, as seen below.

When those layers were finished, I did the 3rd layer with WOW! Bondling Powder and Fab Foil in Bright Gold. The Bonding Powder, when heated with the WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool, acts as an adhesive for the Fab Foils! The key to success is to have your Fab Foils ready to apply over the bonding powder while it's still hot. Then, use a bone folder to gently rub the foil into the bonding powder and leave the foil on until it is cool to the touch. It's that simple!

The last step to layering was with Pinkfresh Studio inks in Candy Violet and Royal Bliss along with Earl Grey Embossing Powder from the Pick Me Up trio. I love layering stencils because you can combine WOW! powders and Fab Foil to your inks for an amazing end result!

The final step was to add interest to the background and final touches with embellishments.  I placed a gold and white ribbon at the top of the vase to cover a little gap between the vase and flowers. Then I added Pinkfresh Studio Metallic Silver embellishments among the flowers. To the background, I did some very light ink blending with their Argyle stencil. I trimmed the card card panel to 5.5 x 3.75 and adhered it to a black card base.

I am so glad you joined me today, and I hope that you'll grab your Fab Foils, WOW! powders, and layered stencils and have some fun! Please use the hashtag #wowembossing so that we can find your beautiful creations!
