WOW! Embossing Powders This crackle embossing effect was created with Love Is a Drug translucent powder from The Ferry Man Trio. In order to ensure it wasn't a fluke, I created a second set of cards with Copacabana (retired) translucent powder. It worked beautifully.


Heat Embossing with Water This is such a quick and simple technique and if you've never seen it before you're going to love it, First, I wet a squirrel hair mop brush with water and swiped it over smooth hot press watercolor paper to create a block of brush strokes.

VIDEO - Watercolor Emboss Resist Four Ways with Jenny

Have you been having fun playing along with our Emboss Resist November Challenge?  One of my favorite forms of emboss resist is watercolor, so today I'm showing you four cards that all feature watercolor emboss resist.  The twist is that they all use slightly different watercolor mediums.  Most of these cards are quick to make.   In all of my cards I use WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder for the resist technique, but you can use any WOW! powder for this.

For my first card, I stamped the Hero Arts Holiday Foliage Bold Print background in WOW! Embossing ink onto watercolor cardstock and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White. I used the Superfine grade of powder as this is a very intricate pattern.

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW!  Have you tried adding double embossing to your papercrafts? You can easily combine dry and heat embossing to create fun and stylish embossed cards with that extra step that takes your cards up a notch. Heat embossing allows you to add colour and highlight dry embossing and there are many ways you can do that. Today I'm showing you how you can create 4 cards with 3 different techniques.
