My recent card featuring watercoloring against a dark background for the February Theme Challenge seemed to have been very popular! As a result, I've created two more cards featuring this technique (I first saw Yana Smakula use this technique, you can see her post here).
My cards feature the Glintz powders. I created a video of the process which you can check out here or over on the WOW! Embossing channel.
I heat embossed this heart image - All My Love from Concord & 9th in Rose Glintz, on hot press watercolor cardstock. I then watercolored the image using Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers. These are great for smaller areas, and I just drew a line of color using the brush marker directly on the cardstock and then pulled it out with a waterbrush. When done, I went all around the edges and in the central pieces with the Desert Night brush marker which is a dark navy blue. I then fussy cut it out.
