Christmas Tag by Jamie Cripps

Good Afternoon!  Jamie here with you today with a quick Christmas Tag!

I stamped my background cardstock with the French Music Stamp Set with Ice Spruce Distress ink and then blended in Spun Sugar.  I tore the edge and then dipped it in Bundled Sage Distress ink then stamped the tree from the Deck the Hall Stamp set with black ink.
Once I had the background set, I used the WOW embossing pen  to color the white areas of the star.

I covered the star with Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing  Powder and poured the unused powder back into the container.

Then I used a heat gun to set the powder.

The star now has an amazing sparkle!

A Little Bit of Vintage...

Good Morning!  It's Jamie back with you today sharing what has become one of my favorite cards.!  Now, before I begin I should tell you that I am not so great with vintage'y things.  I have tried and failed ...miserably...many, many times! :)
When I received the Vintage 1928 Stamp Set from WOW Embossing Powders, I just loved the images and knew I would have to try again!
Just have a look...aren't they amazing!?

I used the chair, the roses (the one on the top left with the box), and the key from the Vintage 1928 set and then the Thank You sentiment from the Gratitude set...and I kept it simple.
I started off by adding the sentiment to the front of the card in black ink

and then added the chair above it, centering.

I stamped the chair again on another piece of cardstock with Embossing Ink and then covered it with Angel Wings Embossing Glitter!

I removed the excess glitter onto a piece of scrap paper and poured it back into the original jar for storage.
Once you have the powder r…

Heart to Heart by Jamie Cripps

Hi guys!  It's Jamie back with you today and I am sharing another fun way to bring a little something extra to your projects!
I found this adorable felt heart at Target sold in a three pack.  I love all the detail already cut into the felt, but I really wanted it to stand out so I trimmed a white piece of cardstock that would fit behind the heart and inked it up with a clear embossing ink.  I then sprinkled the Berrylicious and Bubble Gum Embossing Powders over the cardstock and removed the excess powder then heat set it.  I adhered the felt heart on top of the embossing once it cooled and just look at all that shimmer and shine it brings...

Thinking of You by Jamie Cripps

Hi, it's Jamie  and I am back with you today to show you a quick little trick I use to create backgrounds!   1.  I start by choosing the background that I want for my card. 2.  Next I grab a template, a piece of scrap paper, my VersaMark ink, and my WOW       Embossing powder. 3.  I place the template over my background paper and then use the VersaMark ink to       cover over the template.  Remove the template and dust the ink with WOW       Embossing powder.  Note:  I place a piece of scrap paper down before dusting with       the embossing powder so I can easily pour the powder back into the jar. 4.  Shake off excess powder and then heat set!  That's it!  Now you are ready to add the       background paper to your project...easy right!?

Hi Friend! by Jamie Cripps

Hi everyone!  Jamie here with my first ever WOW DT blog post!  Today I am sharing with you a card that I created mostly using the Flowers background stamp!  I inked my Flowers background stamp with my VersaMark stamp pad and stamped a large area on a light blue cardstock.  I covered the area in the Suzy West Berrylicious WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it.  Once it was dry, I punched three scalloped circles and trimmed out the mat shown on the card below!  With the mat, I reinked my stamp and stamped over the image again, offsetting the stamp a little to have a shadow effect, and then I covered the ink with the Clear Gloss Ultra High WOW Embossing Powder.  This powder gives it a wet, shiny look and really brings out the texture of my cardstock!  I then spiral cut the scalloped circles and rolled them to form flowers.  I just adore the way the flowers look with the flower pattern on them!
