Monochromatic Birthday Card with Isha Gupta

Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying the June challenge on our facebook group and the theme is "Repeat Patterns". I like this theme as "repetition" is very important aspect in design. It helps establish visual harmony and also gain notice in a project.
I also used the new and absolutely GORGEOUS WOW! CHANGERS on my card. As the name suggests, these powders change the look of the embossing powders you mix them with. They come in Sheen - a pearly soft shimmer, Glisten - a beautiful mix of glitters and Texture add a beautiful texture to the embossed image. For my card I mixed the Glisten and Texture CHANGERS with the Rose Glintz embossing powder.

I created a monochromatic card with a pop of color. I used the Camouflage Die-cutting technique for this one.

I started by creating a white cardbase. Then I created my embossing powder mixture. I used Metalline Dark Blue powder 3 parts along with the CHANGERS (Sheen 2 part and Texture 1 part). I then took a white …

Congrats Changers Card with Isha Gupta

Hello Everyone! We have a new challenge on our facebook group and the theme is "Repeat Patterns".

To start, I took a white panel and stamped the Brushed Stroke Stripes by Studio Katia using the Altenew Pink Pearl ink. I then took the narrower stamp, stamped it using WOW! slow drying ink and embossed it using the mix I created using the CHANGERS. For the mix, I used 2 parts Rose Glintz, 1 part each of Glisten and Texture. Mix the powder…

Hello Lovely Card by Isha Gupta

Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying the May challenge on our facebook group and the theme is "Nature". It's a perfect theme for these times. I decided to use heat embossing onto the embossed paper using an embossing folder. This gives a nice organic effect. The powder will stick to the raised areas and this enhances the effect.

I started by creating a white cardbase. I then cut a mat layer using black cardstock. Emboss this panel using the embossing folder "Weathered" by Taylored Expressions. The stamps and dies are Watercolor Flowers by Gina K Designs.
Take the embossed panel, swipe the slow drying ink pad lightly onto the raised surface. By doing it with a light hand, we will ensure that the raised parts only will get the ink. Sprinkle the Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing powder and heat set it using the dual heat tool.

Cut this panel as per the card photo and adhere it to the card. Flick black ink and stamp the sentiment.

For the floral cluster, I stamped the…

Beautiful Day Card with Isha

Hello Everyone! The May challenge is up on our facebook group and the theme is "Nature". Nature is one thing which we can't get enough of. It's really beautiful where we live, so I love going for long walks in the woods to enjoy nature and de-stress myself :)

I started by creating a white cardbase. I then cut a mat layer, stamped the All Lined Up background stamp by MFT using WOW! slow drying ink. I then sprinkled Gold Pearl embossing powder and heat set it using the WOW! Dual Heat tool. I simply love this tool and I feel it's a must have in every crafters basic supplies.
I then applied some more sticky ink to the edges of the layer and for this I used our new Mixed Media brush by Seth Apter. Sprinkle gold pearl powder and heat set.

Now I adhered a white die-cut using Altenew Frilly Frame die. For the next step, die-cut some leaves from Altenew Fantasy Floral Die. Dabbed the clear sticky ink to it, sprinkle Sage embossing powder inspired by Catherine Pooler. Th…
