Simon Says Stamp Thankful Flowers Simon Says Stamp Thankful Stamp Set has large weighty sentiments and fabulous florals. The bold sentiments are excellent to add black contrast to these rainbow embossed florals.
The two individual flower stamps are heat embossed with WOW! Love is the Drug, Metalline Flame, Primary Lemon, Metalline Kiwi Krush, Jealous Guy, and Angel Eyes.

I love to design with pops of black and prefer to have at least 3 black elements on a card. The sentiment, strips of black cardstock, and Nuvo Crystal Drops create a triad of contrast.
The heat embossed flowers are die-cut, popped up on foam squares, and any excess trimmed.

Rainbow Stencil Stripes with Gemma

Rainbows always make a fun birthday card. For my card today, I’ve used a rainbow of embossing powders with a stripes stencil to create my background.

I chose the following embossing powders, using a pink instead of a purple as I don’t have a purple embossing powder in my collection: Primary Apple RedMetalline FlameOpaque Pastel YellowMetalline Kiwi KrushAngel EyesMetalline Dark BlueLove is the Drug I taped the Pretty Pink Posh Wide Stripes stencil over a piece of white card. A Rainbow of WOW! Embossing Powders Half of my powders are translucent with a high gloss finish and the other half are opaque with a metalline finish. Metalline powders have a lustre finish and are true color shifters. After heat embossing, they appear to be the color as shown in the jar, but from an angle, they have a gold lustre finish. Gorgeous!!

First up I had to use the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Gnome Stamp & Die Bundle. Too stinkin' cute and perfect for rainbow coloring.
