Let it snow...

This is my last DT member realisation for WOW. It was a hard decision for me to leave the DT and I'll miss it. I am very thankful for having been part of this adventure. Marion has a fabulous team which will keep on inspiring and challenging us all. My project today is a card with my favorite colors for the season: mint and gold.
I adhered paper and added stamping using WOW Hears and Twine stamps.
I melted WOW Neptune embossing powder and cut 2 snowflakes with a die.

Self-made "enamel dots" are easy to make. I melted WOW gold pearl, vanilla white and Melt-it powder in a foil case. Be careful it is very hot !!! and let some drops fall on a plastic sheet. You may also let your drops fall directly on your project.
Thank you for your visit. I hope you will join our current challenge.

I'm sure you'll all join me in saying a great big THANK YOU to Laurence for all her gorgeous projects and hard work, we're really going to miss you. Here's the fab products Laurence…

Christmas Card

Hello this is Laurence (laury55) today with a Christmas card. We still have some time until Christmas but we are all very busy in December and preparing your cards in advance will reduce your stress later. My Christmas card is quite simple and may be easily duplicated
1) I covered a scrap of paper with WOW metallic gold powder, heat embossed and used dies for the letters.
2) I cut 2 triangles for the trees, the second one is covered with adhesive. I applied WOW Oceanic Embossing on the first one and WOW Santorini sparkles on the second one.
3) I stamped directly on my background paper and heat embossed with WOW gold rich sparkle powder.

Thank you for your visit. I hope you will join our current challenge. Here's the fabulous products Laury used on her gorgeous project -

Autumn tag by Laurence

Hello WOW fans! I'm so excited to share a tag using the triple embossing technique. It's autumn now and I was inspired by the warm colors of the season.
I started with a white tag and added some strips of washi tape to add texture, added gesso. When dry, I used a wet brush to dilute gelatos and neocolor II.

The Flights of Fancy stamp set is just perfect for the season. I used gold pearl to heat emboss some leaves. Pearl embossing powders are really fun to use and react differently, depending whether you have a light or dark background. You should try them, you won't be disappointed.
I used a separate leaf for the triple embossing technique. I first stamped with a light inkpad and cut around the stamped image.
The leaf is covered with 3 layers of embossing powder. I used Clear Gloss and Metallic Gold Rich. When the last layer was still hot, I gently pressed down my stamp.

I dabbed white glue through my stencil and sprinkled Pumpkin spice sparkles. You may now add all your elemen…

Card by Laurence

Laurence here and I am happy to share with you a new card that features the resist technique. It is one of my favorite technique to combine heat embossing with watercolor. You may use watercolor, gelatos or neocolor 2 diluted with water. All work perfectly well after you have heat embossed your image.
I cut a piece of paper of the same dimension as my background paper. It is better to use watercolor paper as you will add water later. I die cut 3 circles in my sheet of paper but you may use a stencil if you prefer and placed it on top of the watercolor paper.

I stamped with the Go Figure stamp and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I colored inside each circle with my neocolor II ...

and added water to dilute the color.

Then I painted around each circle with different colors.

The sentiment is embossed with Oceanic embossing powder and I added foam square to add dimension.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will be inspired and join our current challenge.

Enjoy today

Hello, this is Laurence today to share one of my techniques with foil. You will agree that foil looks different from embossing powder but is quite fun and easy to work with.
 1. Apply gesso on your background. 2. Add acrylic paint and dilute it with water. The 2 feathers are covered with undiluted acrylic paint.

3. Roll your brayer on your embossing pad and apply on the feather. Using a brayer is perfect as I didn't want to cover the die completely and still wanted the color to show through.
 4. Cover with Bonding powder, heat  and when still hot press down your foil and burnish.  5. Here is your finished feather. 5. Ink your stamp with clear embossing powder, cover with bonding powder and heat with your heatgun. Press down your foil and burnish
6. Use  foam square to add dimension to your die cut.
I hope you will feel inspired and join our current challenge.

Inky card

This month's technique is multicolour embossing and I was inspired by Tania's Hello Card. Tania combined different stamps from the Hearts and twine sheet to create her own design with different embossing powders. The stamps coordinate perfectly with each other.
1. Spray ink on your stencil and flip it over on your card.
2. Stamp on a separate watercolor paper and cover the stamped image with WOW Misty Sky embossing powder. Heat emboss. 3. Using a wet brush, pick ink an color the stamped image and outside. When dry, stamp outside with your second stamp and heat emboss with WOW white embossing powder. Repeat with WOW Oceanic and white embossing powders. 4. I used the same technique, i.e. stamped and heat embossed and stamped a second time with a different stamp outside and with a different embossing powder (WOW Oceanic and Misty sky) but I worked directly on the card. 5. Cut out the stamped images and glue them on your card.
6. Add a die cut. I hope you will be inspired …

Pocket page

Laurence here and I am happy to share with you my pocket page. I didnt' want to use the cards sold in scrapbooking shops and decided to create my own. It is very easy and fun. You can create your cards with few materials: stamps, die-cuts and embossing powder. In addition you can decide what color to use to fit to your pictures. I kept the cards simple. My cards mainly consist of die-cut and title or sentiment. You can just stamp the sentiment on your card (picture below) or use the same stamp and heat emboss it on a color paper. Cut strips of every other word and glue your words on top of the stamped image.
