Hi everyone!

It's Fran here with you today with a video tutorial in which I create this festive Winter card using WOW! Fab Foils, embossing powders along with showing you how to create your own DIY embellishment (which gets the full WOW! treatment!).


I used a selection of powders on the project to alter and add some seasonal sparkle; Silver Hologram Sparkle, Vintage Peacock embossing glitter, Opaque Bright White plus my favourite Copper Fab Foil.  Stamping always gives a complete look to background areas, and on this project I added subtle snow flurry details with the mini background stamp from WOW's Let It Snow set.



Customising chipboard letters with Fab Foil is such a fun and easy way to alter and add some shine.

Winter Style with WOW Embossing Powders and their amazing colors and textures. Today I have a card to share with you that I created using three different tones of blue available in WOW Embossing Powder. Take a look at my card:


This month the theme is winter and I decided to use Whisper White card stock for the base and layers. Let me share how I made this:
Cut the base of card. The size is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2".Cut a second layer using the same card stock.Make a dry embossing using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.After dry embossing, pass the WOW Embossing Pad easily over the raised up side to apply the ink and cover the card stock with  Coastal WOW Embossing Glitter.   Melt the glitter with the WOW Heat Tool.Using snow flake die cuts, cut a medium snow flake and cover it the WOW Embossing Pad.Apply Blueberry Cheesecake WOW Embossing Powder over the inked side and melt the powder with the heat tool. How are we all?  It's that time again, a new challenge has launched and I'm here to share my examples with you.

One stamp, different ways - the possibilities are endless!!  I've used one of my favourite WOW! stamps - De-Vine.  I LOVE this stamp :)

My first card uses the stamp as a background;



I embossed the De-Vine stamp using Vintage Peacock powder on a pale turquoise card and attached this to the card base. I then cut openings in the white top layer and adhered it to the card base with foam adhesive to add a little dimension and a shadow gap between the embossing and the card front.  The sentiment was then embossed in Purple Orchid on tracing paper and mounted on lilac card.

My second card uses the emboss resist technique - one of my favourites!



For this card I embossed the De-Vine stamp in Bright White Opaque Super Fine powder and then cut out the banners.  Once I had blended the inks onto the banners, I sewed them onto the card front.  Next, I embossed the sentiments…
