Hi this is Jenifer here with you today.  For my Metal project I kinda cheated and used these Bezels from Spellbinders and filled it with a flower that perfectly fit in the center.  I tied it all together with some silk ribbon that can be changed out with different outfits. Spring Layout with WOW

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share my Wood piece with you.  I took a plain piece of wood veneer and added some opaque bright white Ultra High to it to give it an old weathered picket fence look.  I did 2 coats to really make it stand out.  I put a flower in the middle with a molded flower in the center.

Stained Glass Birthday Card

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share my project with the "glass" theme.  I couldn't get the idea of a stained glass window out of my head so that is what I tried to accomplish in my card.

Using a background stamp I embossed with with Primary Ebony.  Then using Twinkling H2O's and a paintbrush I colored in the ovals.  I love how it turned out :)  I also used the Everyday Sentiments stamp for the Birthday wishes embossed with Bodacious Blue and the little flower is the combination of Earthtone Grape, Presidio Purple and Berrylicious.
Here is a closeup of the design, doesn't it remind you a little bit like stained glass?

Dream Big Altered Canvas

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share this fun canvas I made. I started out with a canvas that I had messed up on and was just laying around.  The first step was to scrunch up a couple layers of wax paper and  mod podge them to the canvas.  After that I used some spackling that I got from Home Depot and added a nice textured layer on top of the was paper.  I then took another sheet of wax paper and scrunched it up and went to town with my WOW powders.  I put the versamark pad directly on the paper not worrying about getting into all the nice little cracks.  After cutting out my embossed waxed paper into 3x3 squares I mod podged them to the canvas, at this point I felt they were a little to bright so I put a thin layer of white paint over the top and it went into the cracks and I was very happy with the results.  Then it was the layering of all the fun elements.
Here is a close-up of  all the details. I hope you have enjoyed my project today, it really is amazing what you can d…

WOW-up your canvas

Hi there and welcome to the WOW blog today!

Last weekend I have been teaching some fun workshops at a Dutch scrapbook store called Scrap4Fun.
In one of the workshops we used WOW Embossing Powder to spice up our canvasses.

Do you notice that I put all the cans up-side-down? That's how I store them in my studio too. Makes finding the right color a lot easier :)
This project is one of the examples i made for the class:

After creating the texture for the background and all the painting we finished the canvas with adding a lot of interest using WOW Embossing Powders.
We stamped and embossed all the circles around the book paper circles and used Punchinella stars and dots to create extra texture.

Colors used: Suzy West Cotton Candy regular, Wow Magical Mauve Embossing glitter, Wow Earthtone Grape, Wow Earthtone Pomegranate, Wow Opaque Bright White regular.
And here are some of the results. Don't you just love how they all turned out so differently?!

Thank You in Purple!!!

Hi, I hope everyone is making it through this middle of the week Wednesday!!! I have a card to share with you today and I love purple, so I decided to focus on it with the powders and trims! I've used Suzy's "Gratitude" stamp set and a couple of purple powders.

First, I found some random chipboard blooms and embossed them with the Suzy West Berrylicious and WOW Earthtone Grape. Then I stamped the sentiment from the "Gratitude" stamp set and embossed with the WOW Opaque Bright White. I did the same thing with the little ribbon chippie accent.

For the title I just embossed with the Earthtone Grape and chose the "thank you" from the stamp set. I used pop dots for some dimension.

I added some beautiful purple ribbon and trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I just love the sheer butterfly trim. I added a little Baker's twine too!
These stamps are so versatile, I find myself using them all the time, they're so easy when you need a quick card and the …
