Spring Tweetings

Hello crafty friends, I hope you're all having a productive week. It's been lovely to play about with WOW! Embossing Powders and Glitters this month and create a non-card project. I decided to revamp a little birdhouse. I cut  white card to fit the front and sides and covered it with Oasis Regular Powder. I added PVA glue down the corners and around the hole and sprinkled more powder on top to create a more rustic feel. I used Avocado, Misty Sky and Frozen Regular Powders for the roof and used a circular punch to create the individual roof tiles. Once the tiles were in place I then used the heat tool to melt the powders slightly and sprinkled Sparkles in Sea Horse over the top. I then used the Chrysanthemum stamp and Opaque Bright White powder on vellum to create the flowers. The smaller flowers and bird were covered in Yum Yum Bubble Gum and Sweet Cheeks powders. I hope your enjoying the new powders and glitters as much as me! Sarah xxx

Fears Conspire | Art Journal Page

Hello crafty friends, I hope you're all doing well. It's Fran with you today with some more WOW! themed inspiration! I've had a longing to do some journaling recently this month's brief fitted perfectly and allowed me to scratch my creative itch, so to speak. So my page is a rather atmospheric affair which was inspired by one of my favourite songs and the reality of worries and fears. The beauty of journaling I find, is channeling fears and worries onto a page and giving them a creative outlet.  The monochromatic colour scheme worked well with the general theme of the page adding in some small areas of metallic embossing powders lifted it just the right amount.  I used Melt It powder, Ebony black embossing powder and silicone heart mould to create the embellishment which is incorporated into the photo with cotton trailing out from underneath onto the following pages, entangled with words. Using Perissa thick embossing powder adds a texture

Memory Tag by Susanne

Hi there! Susanne writing today and I'm sharing a memory tag today. I used a baby photo from my grandma's stash and "framed" it with a mixed media tag. I started with a gelli printed background. I used the "J'adore" background stamp together with jet black Archival Ink. I stamped it randomly with low preassure here and there. After this was completely dry I used two hearts from the "Layered Hearts" set and embossed them with "Golden Flame" Glitter. The lovely glittered hearts are made with the "Hearts" silicone mold. I mixed: "Fireworks" Sparkle with Melt-It powder. I cut the love from cardstock which was covered with double sided tape. I add "Fireworks" Sprarkle to the sticky side. Thank you for stopping by today! xx Susanne. Supplies: WOW! Embossingpowder: Embossing Ink Pad Melt-It Powder Golden Flame Glitter Hearts Silicone Mold Heat Tool J'adore Stamp set Layered Heart

Babybook with gold accents

Hello, dear friends! Victoria is on the blog today, and I want to share with you a babybook that I created for my son's photos. Babybook is an album or notebook with printed pages for photos and notes about your child. It is an easy and pretty way to store your memories. And Memories is the theme on our blog challenge in May !  The design of the pages is clean with black and gold accents, so I used a bunch of coordinating Wow products to decorate the book.

Pocket page

Laurence here and I am happy to share with you my pocket page. I didnt' want to use the cards sold in scrapbooking shops and decided to create my own. It is very easy and fun. You can create your cards with few materials: stamps, die-cuts and embossing powder. In addition you can decide what color to use to fit to your pictures. I kept the cards simple. My cards mainly consist of die-cut and title or sentiment. You can just stamp the sentiment on your card (picture below) or use the same stamp and heat emboss it on a color paper. Cut strips of every other word and glue your words on top of the stamped image. close up Hot Gossip glitter powder on top of a die-cut   Supplies: Wow embossing pad WOW heat tool WOW Hot Gossip WOW Vanilla white WOW Set 47 Born To Sparkle WOW Set 42 Hey Little Flower WOW Set 38 Mr Wow's WonderfulWords Where to Buy: UK Shop US Shop Pin It Now!
