VIDEO: Gingerbread Men embellished gift tags with Melt-it!

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW! At the beginning of the month I was lucky enough to go to the creative craft show at the NEC in the UK, and whilst I was there I popped along to the WOW! Marion kindly gave me a one on one tutorial on using Melt-it and I knew I had to try it out for my self. I couldn't resist a silicone mould that had little gingerbread men and thought they would make fun embellishments for gift tags. So today, I'm showing you how easy Melt-it! is.

Be true - a journal cover by Riikka Kovasin

"This above all: to thine own self be true" - William Shakespeare, Hamlet
It's Riikka here today to share another embellishment project with you. My first one was a clean layout and this second one is totally different. It goes to show that embossing powders are really versatile and can be used to create all sorts of embellishments!
I started the project by making the background. I painted the cover first with black gesso. Then I wanted a pattern in there. Then I sprayed the project lightly with water and sprinkled flame colored powders on top. Water will keep the powders put long enough for you to heat them. There's also a touch of metallic acrylic paint in there. Then it was embellishing time!

For this cover I mainly used Melt-It products to create the embellishments. For the lady in the center I used mainly "Bright …

Rainbow Ornament Card with Dana

Hello, everyone!

It's Dana from Dana G. Crafts and I'm so excited to be sharing my first card here as a WOW! Design Team member. As you know, our monthly theme is 'rainbow' and I used various techniques for my rainbow card today.

To begin, I pulled out A2 sized bristol paper and ink blended it with rainbow colors of distress oxide inks. I then die cut several circles from black card stock as shown.

I stamped some geometric images from Sparkle & Shine Stamp Set with Embossing Ink and sprinkled Metallic Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder and heat set each of them.

Then, I applied anti-static powder to black card stock and drew some lines using Embossing Pen and ruler. I heat embossed them using same embossing powder with ornament images.

I also heat embossed 'happy everything' sentiment from Studio Katia Birthday Greetings stamp set beside the bottom-left ornament.

Next, I started to make my own embellishments with embossing powders using melting technique. It&#…
