Christ the Lord is Born - Raluca Vezeteu

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space!  Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my new CAS card showcasing another sparkling Christmas card.

For my card I played with the fabulous WS167 Unicorn Magic glitter embossing powder, along with these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.

I started my card by preparing a ombre watercolor background using some cheap watercolors. After the panel dried, I added white splatters all over it for a more wintery feel. Although I adore to create cute Christmas cards with adorable critters, Santa and kids, I also love to create cards that show what Christmas really means for me! And the stamp that I used today does exactly this.

I trimmed a large strip from vellum paper and I stamped the beautiful Nativity Bookmark Stamp Set from A Jillian Vance Designs using the WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, I added the gorgeous and spa…

Vintage Sparkle by Heather

Hello again everyone...
Heather back with a make completely out of my colour comfort zone as I don't usually do delicate and pale... I'm more of a 'in your face' kinda maker!
It's good to challenge yourself sometimes though and so I picked three acrylic paints for the background and just gently swiped the colours around using a palette knife and added some hints of gold using my finger.
Over the background, I used Wow's Sexi-Hexi stamp (and huge apologies as I think it is now discontinued - arghhh!) with their Vintage Romance powder just for some delicate texture.  You could of course use any Wow stamp... French Music or Go Figure would work equally as well.
I then chose a gorgeous Aall & Create A4 stamp, Blossomed Numbers by Tracy Evans,  to cover the background as I wanted a textural look but not obviously textural (you have to look a bit deeper!)  I chose another of the vintage powder, Vintage Champagne, as it has a beautiful subtle twinkle to it and  just l…

A Bit of a Drama Queen by Jaine Drake

I love a bit of theatre, who doesn't now and again? Christmas is made for theatre and drama I think and this gorgeous stamp soon to be available to buy, by our own Karen is full of flamboyance! What better than a dramatic black background, the stamped image and a bit of extra bling (if there wasn't already enough) with shimmery gold.

I'm always a bit nervous of stamping and embossing on black but I needn't have worried as this detailed stamp is a dream to use. Embossed with Pearl Gold Sparkle brings out those details in such a dramatic way and creates a gorgeous finished image.
I sprayed the stamped tag with water and scrunched it up in my hands to create the crumpled effect. When this was dry I rubbed a little gold paint over the surface to catch the creases. Before this dried, I wiped over the embossing to clean it off.

To add a little colour to my tag, I added red Ranger Stickles glitter glue to a few of the details and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the st…
