Major Rockstar Canvas

Hi this is Jenifer  here with you today to share my fabric project.  I made a small canvas of my daughter playing one of her guitars.  I first applied some Spackle to the canvas and after that was dry I ran my versamark ink pad around the edges and on some of the peaks of the texture.  Apply the embossing powder, I used Sierra sunrise, and then proceed to decorate as desired.  I love the embossing powder and the texture together I think it gives really nice dimension to my canvas. Supplies: WOW embossing glitter- Sierra Sunrise Flowers- Prima Twine- May Arts Sheet Music Canvas Spackle scraps I hope you have enjoyed my fabric post today, you still have a few more days to link up for some cool prizes. Canvas Fun

I have had so much fun making this canvas.  I was very lucky to receive a melting pot from my amazing boss Elena for Christmas  :-)  I have not stopped playing with it.    So for this project I have made a canvas using the WOW molds and Embossing powder. This months theme is Fabric,  I added a panel of burlap and  gesso to the canvas.  I used distress paint to give the back ground some colour.  Once it was dried I added embellishments . Which I made with embossing powders :-) For this flower I made with Black Ultra High Embossing Powder and added some Blue Perfect pearls to it. I made the branches using the Ultra High Gold Embossing Powder and  a cake mold along with the leaves.  For the leaves I used a mixture of Green Wow Embossing Powders. To attach them to my canvas I have used really tackie glue,  you could used a heat gun too. When I had finished with a colour in the melting pot I tipped it out onto a non stick, heat resistant craft mat.  Somet

Faux Leather Wallet

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here today with my take on this month's challenge -  Fabric I found the tutorial for this over on Splitcoast Stampers. I used Kraft card, put through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then heat embossed with clear gloss. In the tutorial you do these steps before stitching the patterned paper inside but I found it very hard to get it through the machine, and found stitching before heat embossing was much easier.  For my fabric I added some ribbon and ribbon sliders to each side. I finished with a metal button.  WOW Products used:  Clear Gloss Embossing Powder  WOW! Heat Tool  CLICK HERE TO ENTER OUR CHALLENGE AND WIN SOME WOW! EMBOSSING POWDERS!! Theme for the month: Fabric! Upcycled Felt Glasses Case

Hi All. Chris here again with this month's "Fabric" theme. For this month's theme Iv'e upcycled a hand-made Felt Glasses Case by adding some flowers made from the WoW silicone moulds and embossed leaves made from card. Firstly, I folded a piece of cardstock in half and cut out one side of a leaf. When opened this made both sides of the leaf look the same. I then embossed the leaves with green embossing powder and whilst still wet, marked the leaf  viens with a ball point pen.  As the flowers won't stick very well to the felt, I then sewed them on at the base to the felt border and then stuck the moulded flowers onto the leaves with silicone glue. Two flowers were added to the bottom and one to the top of the large felt flower.  I really pressed hard to stick this top one down and waited ages for it to dry but eventually we got there. To make the actual flowers I melted some pink embossing powder and Melt It powders in a Melt pot and poured the melted

Just Because

Hi Everyone Today I'm using the stamp sets 'Everyday sentiments, Vintage Wallpaper, Funky Border and Vintage'   They can be used in so many different ways and have some wonderful patterns and sentiments on them.  Here's my interpretation today, 'RIBBON'  All you need are strips of paper and either scissors for the V end or a square punch to cut the ends .  The embellishment at the top of the card is real ribbon!   This card could be used for any occasion, just change the wording. I have used Versamark heat set with Apple Red, Ebony Black and Pastel Blue Embossing powders to create the effect. Happy New Year to you all and hope you will be visiting the blog on a regular basis to see what the rest of the design team are up to. Take care...Sue

Be you (with a lot of embossing powders)

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our new monthly challenge. Irit is here with some  embossed inspiration. This month we challenge you to use Fabric (any fabric as you can see from my project). This is a new Mixed Media piece I made for WOW! Embossing powders Fabric monthly challenge. My fabric is canvas I worked over and I tried to use some different mediums and to add embossing powders over those mediums to see the results. All mists are from LSG. All chipboards and masks are from Tando Creative and I used black gesso, glossy accents and white molding paste to add a lot of embossing and to check the results. Well, it works great over the black gesso: we  still see the black colour, but then it gave us a textured look and made the gesso mask very visible. The " blood drops" over glossy accents are less visible, but still gave a good  textured result. Adding powders over wet molding paste gave the most visible texture (the outer frame splashes were m
