Glittery Metallic Encouragement Card

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative WOW space! Raluca here and I'm so excited to share with you my glittery new card showcasing one of my favorite WOW Embossing Powders!

I created this card to play along with the "Metallics" theme for the Wow! Embossing Powder Facebook Fan Group page monthly challenge - ❤ WOW Embossing Powder Fans ❤ https://www.facebook.com/groups/WOWEPFans/

For my card I played with WS26 Metallic Platinum Sparkle and these WOW must have tools WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing PadWOW! Heat Tool - Euro and WOW! Premium Embossing Craft Mat.

First I chose a panel from all the watercolored panels that my nieces made when they visited me. My eyes stopped on this beautiful purple pink panel that I thought it would go perfectly with the gorgeous WS26 Metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder.

Then I went through my stamp stash and chose this lovely Ellen Hutson - Plant Ladies Say stamp set that has this big and bold sentiment. I stamped it using th…

Key to my Heart Canvas

Hi there WOW fans, I am so excited to be showing you my canvas project today.  I absolutely love, love love how it turned out. I just love all the different textures going on here and I can't wait to put it in a frame.

I had a canvas from another project that I just didn't like any more that was painted a light pink.  I sketched out a heart in the center of the canvas.  Using a stencil and some spackle (spackle is used to patch walls and is found at the hardware store, it is very inexpensive).  Pour your embossing powder over the spackle and lightly tap off the extra and heat set.  Not only do you have a wonderful glittery effect but the spackle gives it more dimension like it is double embossed.  Give it a try the results are awesome.
Here is a close up of my flower cluster.
For the heart I tore small scraps of patterned paper and adhered them with Mod Podge, when I was satisfied with that I Mod Podged some white tissue paper over top to the patterned paper scraps, making su…

Joy Mixed Media Ornament

Hi Wow fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share my mixed media project with you.  I am definitely in the Christmas mood so I ended up making an ornament.  Just wait till you see what I made this out of :)
I added a piece of patterned paper from DCWV on all sides of the box and then using an embossing ink pad I ran it down all the edges and then using opaque bright white embossing powder it made it look like a snowy glass window.  I love how it turned out, and I think I will be making a set to hang on the tree this year.

I stamped Joy using the "Deck the Halls" Stamp set in Metallic Platnum splarkle embossing glitter then cut our around the stamp and adhered it with some foam squares.  All the ribbons are from May Arts and the deer die is from Spellbinders.  Top the ribbon off with a Foliage Button and you are now good to go.
I used the box from a package of soap to make my ornament, I snapped a picture quick before I finished it up.  What could you recycle to turn…

Pretty Birthday Card

Hi everyone, it's Sarah here with a project that I have made for this months Wow! nature theme.

Using the Wow! Embossing Powder Collage Stamp, I stamped toward the bottom of the card and heat embossed with Wow! White Pearl Embossing powder. The dandelion clock is from Wow! Embossing Powder 'Make a wish' Stamp Set which I stamped using Wow! Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Powder. Also from the make a wish stamp set, I stamped and heat embossed the birthday sentiment in Wow! Silver Embossing Powder and also stamped and heat embossed a couple of little butterflies in Wow! White Pearl Embossing powder. I added ribbon to the sentiment message to make it stand out and mounted this onto the card with foam pads.

Products used:
144 mm x 144 mm blank folding card
Wow! Embossing Powder Collage Stamp
Wow! Embossing Powder 'Make a wish' Stamp Set

Happy New Year in Style!

Jen here to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas!  I am now looking forward to celebrating the New Year! I made a fun paper crown to use as decoration or to wear when I ring in 2013!
I covered the numbers and stars with WOW Embossing glitter powder.  The numbers are Bodacious Blue Embossing Glitter and the butterfly frame behind it is Angel Wings. The stars are covered in Sierra Sunset and Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Glitter.
I made a paper medallion and attached the frame and numbers to it.  This was glued to the front of the crown.
Here you can see the edges of the crown points that are edged in Metallic Platinum Sparkle.  I just used VersaMark along the edges and then covered it with the powder.
The stars are attached to a circle punched out and a piece of floral wire between them.
I love these Embossing Glitters from WOW... they are super sparkly and don't rub off like regular glitter.  I love that I can heat set them and not worry about the sparkles falling off…

Layout - Fabulous Best Friends

I hope everyone is having a great Friday... It is another beautiful sunny California day here and I am looking forward to the weekend. Today I wanted to share a layout that was close to my heart. I truly believe we all have people in our lives that have a specific purpose. They help us live our lives to the full potential and really know that it is ok to be who we are... that we are special and important.

Layout: Fabulous Best Friends
Supplies: WOW Metallic Platinum Sparkle Embossing Powder and WOW Brocade Stamp

Journaling: Valentina, you are my best friend and I don't think I could have gotten through the last few months without you. You have been there for me and the boys... you are part of our family. God brings people into our lives for a reason. You have helped me stay strong and find myself. You have changed me, changed me for the better. I am so thankful that you are my best friend.

Notes: I used the Brocade stamp to emboss my patterned paper and then I also used a Martha Stewa…
