Peace

Hi! It's Sandie here today with a little WOW! Embossing inspiration. Following along with our theme this month, Christmas and/or Winter, I have made a Winter tag.

To create the background I started with some blue snowflake paper and added a thin layer of gesso over most of it. Then I added some mesh and more gesso. Using a stencil and modelling paste I added some bubbles.
For the snowflakes I first embossed them with Clear Gloss and then some Mojave.

I coloured the tree with a green copic marker (G21) and then spritzed it with Kiwi Glimmer Mist, dried it off with a heat gun and then embossed it with Clear Gloss.

I sprinkled some Nice Ice Blue and Mojave onto mod podge and heat embossed it so that the powders melted into the mod podge.

I stamped the sentiment onto white card with Memento black ink and then cut the letters apart. I adhered them with mod podge and then put a thick layer of glossy accents over them. Finally, I inked the edges with Broken China distress ink.

"Tis the season of giving"

Well I told you I would be back and today I am going to share with you a project that the girls have been helping me with.  End of school year all ways gets the girls excited as we make all the teachers a thank you present.  This year we have decided on making a little reusable gift bag to full with Christmas teats,  its just little but lets the teachers know that we appreciate what they do for our kids.

Here is what we got up to

I popped the handles inside so we did not get any Metallic Silver on them. I then covered my box in versemark and embossed the entire box Metallic Silver  I popped the handles out and covered them in versamark and poured  Cable Car Red Regular over and heat set.  Here's a handy wee tip.  ALWAYS pop excess powder back into container before turning your heat gun on.  This way you wont blow it everywhere.
Finished product after the kids had fun adding some tissue tape, tinsel and bling.  I made a small tag to hang wishing a Merry Christmas.
Hope you enjoyed my wee sh…

Christmas Card

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by the WOW! Embossing Powder, U.S. blog!!

Today I am going to share with you a Christmas card I created for the upcoming Christmas season here in the U.S. But first I want to start off by saying I am SORRY for the picture quality. I have been without a camera for a little bit now (horrible I know!) so these were taken with my phone. BUT....that is all going to change very soon cause my sweet sweet wonderful husband informed me on Saturday that he bought me a new one and it will be here this week!! I am super excited and can't wait for it to arrive and start trying it out. So by the time my next post is due I will be able to provide much better pictures for you all.

But back to my card now....I used some left over paper scraps from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas collections (loved this collection!!), the Merry & Bright stamp set from the Suzy West WOW! Collection, and both Metalline Green and Opaque Bright White WOW! Embossing…

Fun And Easy Christmas Wrapping Paper

Hi there! Birgit here today with a post about Christmas wrapping paper.
Did you know it is very easy and fun creating your own wrapping paper? It is!

What do you need? First of all simple plain wrapping paper in a nice color and paper bags.
Stamp sets "Merry and Bright Christmas" and "Deck the Halls".
Versamark and your favorite embossing powders. I used Opaque Bright White Regular, Bay Area Blue Regular and Metallic Copper Super Fine.

Don't make it to hard on yourself, there's no need to stamp word by word. Just mix and match a whole lot of stamps on one large block and the work will be done in no time :)

It's as easy as that! And it's only November so you have more than enough time to give your Christmas gifts a personal touch!
Happy stamping!
