Hi everybody...
I'm back today sharing a card I made using the gorgeous Catherine Pooler Trio Bundled Up which includes Peppermint Scrub (a glorious deep pink), Skylight (a beautiful teal colour) and Sage (a mid-tone green) and all three have metallics flecks of gold and silver running through them.
I have a drawer in the craft room which is full of MDF shapes and words and bits and pieces I've gathered over the years and I rarely dip into it for some reason. So for this make I used one of the butterfly shapes (I think it's an old Docrafts one but don't quote me on that).
After painting with a thin layer of gesso, I've squished the Wow! Embossing pad over the butterfly and then sprinkled with the Peppermint Scrub powder. I repeated three times to give a really deep finish.
I decided the butterfly on it's own looked a bit bare, so added some vellum to the back. I stamped some grungy polka dots onto this using Opaque Bright White, this just helps freshen the col…
