My epic timeless 2014

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and this is our All about time month. A lot of things come  to our mind  while  we think about time. It can be  just " I am so late" or " times passed so fast" things; but then it can be anything about a moment in time, good or bad, or just things that happened during some time period.  So after a lot of self " brain storming" I decided to make this altered journal for my memories of year 2014. The year is still " in process", so I just made a cover and then I am going to add some journal pages, Mixed Media or regular scrappy style, not sure about it. But I was pretty much sure about my love to WOW! PRODUCTS and used them a lot over this fancy shabby/Vintage cover.

The basic paper products are from Marion Smith line, but then I used tons of embossing powders to change my embellishments to textures and colours that I like.

The whole cover was embossed with Olive Green powder. The resin white Prima bird …

Love life with Irit and WOW!

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here with our first monthly inspiration and this is our Antique month. So here we go:  the old  chipboard piece got this new " outfit" , also in a very vintage style, but still new one.

First I covered the chipboard with a thick layer of gesso ; then it was covered with a mix of old tapes, all kinds and companies.
The basic tapes were covered with another layer of thin gesso and then I used texture paste to make all those swirls with Tando mask. The wet paste was covered with Metallic Gold Rich  Regular powder and heat embossed all over.
The chipboard shapes were heat embossed partly withPrimary Ebony Super Finepowder and then I addedRuby Romance glitter over the still bare parts.

The  whole board was misted with a mix of gold, pink and light yellow mists (LSG).
Then I made WOW! molded shapes: Shabby rose and this big fancyOrnate  heart. Both were made with Melt-it and a pitch of color. The heart shape was then embossed over with the sa…

Canvas Fun

I have had so much fun making this canvas.  I was very lucky to receive a melting pot from my amazing boss Elena for Christmas  :-)  I have not stopped playing with it.    So for this project I have made a canvas using the WOW molds and Embossing powder.

This months theme is Fabric,  I added a panel of burlap and  gesso to the canvas.  I used distress paint to give the back ground some colour.  Once it was dried I added embellishments . Which I made with embossing powders :-)

For this flower I made with Black Ultra High Embossing Powder and added some Blue Perfect pearls to it.

I made the branches using the Ultra High Gold Embossing Powder and  a cake mold along with the leaves.  For the leaves I used a mixture of Green Wow Embossing Powders.

To attach them to my canvas I have used really tackie glue,  you could used a heat gun too.

When I had finished with a colour in the melting pot I tipped it out onto a non stick, heat resistant craft mat.  Sometimes it came out in drops (orange)…
