Valentine Box

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share this altered Valentine box that I created.
I had this heart shaped box laying around for just the right project to re decorate and with Valentines day coming up right around the corner I thought now was the time.  I first covered the box with some white on white patterned paper and then embossed over the top of that.
Here is a close up of some of the beautiful Wow Embossing powders.  Don't you just LOVE how nice and sparkly they are?
Once I had the base layer completed I then just layered ribbons and flowers until I had the desired look.  Don't throw away those fun boxes next time turn them into little pieces of art.

Hello all, Nataliya is here :)
Today I will show you my panno for V-Day :) I like to do themed panno for celebrations :)

Love is in the Air

Hello everyone, Erika Taylor here and I'm so glad to be back creating again. Although the process is taking a little more time, the break was so needed and I feel that I've gotten a little more clarity.

Today i'm sharing with you a project filled with love. I used a combination of Whirly Pop, Cable Car and Opague Pastel Pink Wow Embossing powders to create this "Lovely" home decor item. I wanted something that could actually stay up all year long and found this beautiful charger plate on sale for $2.00 for the base of the project.

Here are a few photos for ya

First off a photo of the materials I used. Feathers, a charger plate, wooden hearts and letters, and my favorite Wow Embossing Powders.

a close up of the heart for you as well. I love marbling two or three colors of Wow Embossing Powders together for a great textural effect.

I used a few Valentines sprigs and some May Arts lace as well to give a little more UMPH to the project.

Valentines Card

Hi Jenifer here with you today to share this quick and easy Valentines card.  I used the Call me and the Gratitude Stamp sets.  I embossed the large postage stamp in the Metallic Silver and the heart from Cable Car red.  I cut the hearts apart and popped them up with a Foam Square from Therm O Web.  I wrote Love with the Wow embossing pen and used Cable Car red to make it stand out. I wrapped the card a few times with some bakers twine from May Arts and I have a quick but beautiful card for my honey for Valentines Day.  You still have time now go make one.

"Loving Every Minute of It"

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul. Doesn’t this quote from Judy Garland just make you sigh? *sigh*

I hope you all had a terrific week. I’m not even sure if Valentine’s Day is completely global, but what a fantastic excuse to wear red, steal a kiss, indulge in champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, stop and smell the overly priced roses, and remember the moment (or moments) you fell in love.
The 7 Girls and a Smoking Gun design team at WOW! Embossing Powders shared so much passion this week in their love of crafting, that we were bursting with projects! Playing with Embossing Powders, Pretty Papers, Our handy-dandy heat guns, Stamps...We were loving every minute of it!

Each lovely lady posted a sneak peek of a sweet little project created with V-Day in mind and if you followed the links to their blogs you found tutorials, inspirations and smiles. (I have the blogs posted again at the end.)

And then, like the cal…

My heart takes wing...

Hello and happy Sunday! WOW is hosting a blog hop this week and I get to be first on the blog list! Anne here today and I get to start this week of Valentine's and love themed projects with a piece of wearable art I created using WOW Embossing powders. I have to be honest here... when I first received my assignment, I almost panicked! I had no idea what I could do that hadn't already been done by one of my fabulously talented teammates. After giving it considerable thought, I decided to do something with one of my other favorite crafting media. As Wow Embossing powders are so incredibly versatile, they can be used on almost any type of surface, even metal. Take a peek below and then visit my blog to see the entire project.

Thanks for stopping by today. You'll definitely want to come back every day this week to see what the other designers have for you in the way of Valentine inspired projects. I think there might even be some sort of prize at the end and you definitely woul…
