Fun with Foil Birthday Card with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying all the projects using the November Challenge theme: Bright Color Combos. So today I decided to play with foil and WOW! embossing pen. I have been playing with it a lot lately and it's perfect to add the details.

I started by sponging Catherine Pooler inks through the Paper Rose Leaf Burst stencil. The ink colors I used are all that jazz, grape crush, flirty fuschia and pixie dust. dry the panel so the embossing powder won't stick where we don't want it. I then applied embossing pen to some areas and sprinkled WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter. Heat set it using the WOW! dual heat tool.

I then applied the slow drying ink pad to the edges, sprinkledGrape Crush embossing powder and heat set.

For the sentiment, I used the Paper Rose black and white sentiment sheet. Cut some of the sentiment stripes. I then put Purple Fab Foil on it (the shiny side facing up). Sandwich the stripes in a folded copy paper and run it through a hot laminator. I really love the effect.
